Lisa B.: Love this carpet cleaner because it does not leave a very strong scent behind. Your carpets look very fresh, and you can tell that they are clean but if you’re looking for some thing that leaves a very strong fragrance behind, I recommend that you pour some Febreze into the cleaning tank of your machine. I have medium brown colored carpets and you can tell the difference between each section as you clean. I recommend that you don’t use too much detergent because otherwise, you will see a soap residue on the carpet as your cleaning it and you will have to go over that part several times in order to remove the soap.

Graham Brine: Hoover send out a small sample bottle with the new cleaner, obviously more is needed to complete the cleaning task. I read a review online from someone who had used & recommended the Hoover Oxy Carpet solution and so I decided to purchase a bottle along with my Hoover Carpet Cleaner - it works very well & saved me having to rush off to try & find it in a shop - good idea!!
