AJ: The bad news - the battery doesn’t last as long as the previous model did. Now onto all the good things - suction way better - the rubber brush - amazing - while the last model was easy to get brush out the west and tear of constant long dog hair stripped out the brush in about 18 months. This one the hair doesn’t get tangled ! It just goes right up to the basket. - for the size of the dirt trap it holds a decent amount - and it’s quick to empty when it fills up . This is not a canister vac- you have to empty it while vacuuming . But for what it is, it’s amazing and worth the $$$. PS LED lights are another great improvement - if you have a prior Hoover pet vac the batteries also worked in this one. By far worth the money. If you ever had a golden retriever you would know what high praise this is. The only time my dog isn’t shedding all over the house is when he is outside - saving up hair to shed when he comes inside.

Paula L: I’ve bought Hoover battery powered vacuums before and have always been very happy with the quality and performance. This one doesn’t disappoint! It’s great for zipping around and doing quick touch ups but also great for getting dog hair off carpers and furniture. It doesn’t have any attachments. It’s really meant for day to day quick cleaning. Use your heavy duty vacuum for once a week thorough cleans. Although I certainly don’t need to use my Miele as often dice I got this winner. Battery life is fantastic but vacuum is a bit noisy. Otherwise I love it.

SpanishTeacher-Olga: This product is amazing. I had so many hoovers but never remove cat's hair properly. This one after hoover the carpets looks like they been cleaned by professionals. The amount of hair, dust and other debry is amazing. You maybe need to clean with water to clean all the sticky dust. It also save me so much time because is so powerful and easy to manouver. I will buy it again as my cats have now very clean free hair carpets and good for me when I do workouts without hair.

Lori: I have four different vacuums and this is by far my favourite. It is light weight, maneuvers well, holds a lot of dust and dirt, empties easily (no bags) and picks up my dogs hair well. That said, his hair is long so I do untangle it from the brush bar whenever I dump the vacuum, but that’s to be expected and is the same with other brush bar vacuums.I find the charge lasts long enough for me to do a quick vacuum on two floors. The battery charges fast and pops in and out easily. It picks up on hardwood and my low pile carpet well. That said this doesn’t have the heavy duty carpet cleaning suction of larger plugin vacuums but will still pick up quite a lot is sand, dog hair, dirt and Cheerios. I’m very happy with this purchase.

E.M.S.E.M.S.:
As far as affordable, cordless vacuums go, this one is nearly perfect! This is coming from someone who vacuums daily because I have two cats and am very picky about cleanliness and particular vacuum features. I have tried several other brands/types of lightweight vacuums and really wanted an upright cordless for daily ease of use and to keep from having lower back problems. Previously, I tried the other cordless Hoover model and found that one too weak and problematic after returning it five times for a replacement. But then this baby came along and HELLO!
Now here's the main flaw and how I fixed it. But first, a quick note to whoever designed the handle on this model: PLEASE USE METAL AS OPPOSED TO CHEAP PLASTIC IN THE HANDLE area where the main handling and tension take place! I am not even someone of Herculean strength and this is just from basic daily use, but for whatever reason after about a month of use, the upper portion of the handle just SNAPPED RIGHT OFF LIKE A TWIG. And I could see it was made from thin, hollow plastic, yet it's metal in the lower portion of the handle. GO FIGURE. I don't get that design logic and therein lies the big design...

David M. Wenning: My first cordless vacuum was a Hoover Linx. It was a nifty little vacuum that was easy to grab to do a quick cleanup. I could give the whole condo a quick touchup without emptying the dust cup. I especially liked the removable battery that could be charged discretely. No need to have the vacuum standing out in the open next to an outlet to charge. I also have a full size Dyson, but sometimes you just don't need the big guns. Plus I have a lady that comes to clean every other week.
After six years of service, the bottom floor piece broke off the upright. Apparently, that was the Linx's weakness. I was ready to order another one, but it was discontinued. I ended up with one of those multifunction Dyson lookalikes, because it had a removable battery. Among its multifunctions, it did nothing well. It wouldn't touch my German Shepherd's hair. I have a nice hand vac, so I didn't need that. When I vacuumed, all the extra tools kept falling off the handle, until I ended up throwing them out. I couldn't even finish one room without having to stop and empty the tiny dust cup. The center of gravity, motor and battery, was up at the handle making it...
