Uccello Blu: This thermostat was easy to install. I had a two wire connection to my wall heater. This unit has a fan switch to operate a 220v wall heater with a fan. The thermostat operates beautifully.

ewicky: These are the perfect replacement for dial thermostats. I've never been able to get a dial thermostat that could consistently hold a comfortable temperature. Instead, they are basically on/off switches. This unique product from Honeywell solves that. Following the instructions, I set it up for fan heaters which is what I have. This changes the duty cycle period from a few seconds to a few minutes. I find it a little strange that it has no "off" setting, and that the buttons have no icon. The lowest it can be set to is 41F, which should be low enough for most applications, including freeze-prevention applications. The highest it goes it 86F, which again covers the most common applications. Its LCD is readable from off-angles when the backlight is off, but once you press an adjustment button, the backlight washes it out at angles other than head-on. Speaking of button-pressing, whenever you press a button, the first button press does not adjust temp. It brings on the backlight and changes the screen to show the set point instead of room temp. Then subsequent button presses do actually change the set point. After a timeout, the backlight goes out and the display...

V. Evans: we bought two of these. one and it worked so well we bought a second. super easy to install maintains a constant temp without having to fuss with it. if you want to reduce the temp at night it's a simple as the push of a button. reasonably priced as well.

El__Quijote: Well, we just purchased an old home with a newer addition. All of the rooms have their own baseboard heaters, and all also have the dial type thermostats. The old rooms had what looked like 1970's type of thermostats (not sure how old they truly were), and the addition had modern thermostats, but also dial type.
Based on the reviews, I purchased 3 units to replace the old ones (not the new ones in the addition). As soon as I received them, I went ahead and installed them. I was initially worried that I may have gotten over my head since, when I removed the old one, I had 4 wires (two red and two black). I did the "unthinkable" and read the instructions searching for guidance and, surprise!, there it was. I followed the instructions and had it set quickly, and without issues.
These units are GREAT! They work wonderfully and am so happy with them, that I'm purchasing 4 more for the rest of the house. I definitely want these instead of the old knob type. I like the gradual increase in temperature, I like that it maintains the temperature by keeping the heaters warm rather than waiting until it gets cold, and blasting them on again. It maintains the...

Jeremy: These thermostats control baseboard heaters well between 110-220v. They keep the heaters at a nice temperature when the temperature is being maintained, so that they're not too hot, and the temperature is easy to adjust. They were simple to install, but are designed to be installed on an electrical box. I used an on-wall box (made by Wiremold) that worked well. There is no off switch on the unit. They need to be installed away from anything that will affect their functioning, such as windows, or the heater itself. It seems to be accurate enough on a wall about 2 feet from a window and directly above the heater.

I can see the benefits of programmable thermostats for baseboard heaters, but couldn't justify the costs. Since it maintains the heat well though, it is a huge improvement over knob thermostats where I would have to get up every 15 minutes to change the temperature.
