mark b.: At first I was concerned it might not fit but it was just snug which is probably good so it stays on. The only thing that I think would improve it is if the slit for the hose going to the unit was higher - on my unit there is a flex hose about half way up so on that corner the cover isn't able to go to the bottom of the unit

Stacey Smith: I guess I really am middle-aged, because I'm kind of excited about an air conditioner cover. Our last cheap cover with a simple drawstring bottom blew off during a bad bout of wind, causing us to search for a new style that would be more secure. I'm 99.9% sure that this thing is never going to blow off our AC unit with its elastic bottom and perfect fit. The side vent alleviates worries of moisture getting trapped inside, and further helps it to stay put during winds. Although we've had rain and snow gather on top due to a depression on the top of our AC unit, this cover has not yet leaked. We ended up putting a small plastic bowl upside-down between the top of our AC unit and the cover to help it shed moisture better, though. I like the velcro along one side so you can fit it around the connection hoses. All-in-all a great purchase!
