RBW: I plugged this in and it started to work fine filled up the tank I would shut off as it's supposed to ended up putting on the hose to run it to a drain in the basement still seems to be working fine but since I'm not emptying the tank I'm not sure how much water it's pulling out. That was confusing though or the numbers and what they actually do in terms of I don't know is it humidity anyway so no idea what it's for couldn't quite figure that out from the instructions but in terms of getting water out of the air seems to do very well

Andrea: This unit is easy to use and wonderful to move around to where you need it. The only negative per se is the storage unit for the water collection is quite small so it needs to be emptied daily unless you set up the drain hose which doesn't come with the unit.

DRMOO: We had previously a good unit from another Name Brand but the refrigerant lost pressure. This new unit is quieter and seems a lot more efficient. I would have rated it a "5" but the design has the drain hose out of the back which seriously limits where the unit can be located. An out of the side hose is a much better configuration.

Gary Geller: I found this dehumidifier works well. The noise level is fine. I have it in the basement, so it is not really a factor, but I am not sure I would have it in my bedroom and on when I wanted to sleep. It appears to drain well and I use a hose to drain directly to a drain pipe in the basement so I never have to worry about the container filling up.
A perfectly good product and works as required.

NSNS: 70-pint Frigidaire 70-Pint Dehumidifier vs hOmeLabs dehumidifier point-by-point comparison.
Foreword: These are two of the most highly rated and popular dehumidifiers on Amazon. So I thought it may be a good idea to compare them side by side since I happen to own both. I’ve owned Frigidaire for about 9 month and hOmeLabs for about a week.
EPA recommends indoor relative humidity levels 30-60%. Both of these units are well capable of maintaining that. Another note is that both of these units are appliances that do electrical work, therefore, they do generate heat. If you live in a climate where you don’t mind a certain amount of heating (Pacific NW, Midwest or New England), these are perfect. If you live in the South (TX, FL, etc), regular A/C unit should generally do an OK job of controlling humidity, but if you want an additional de-humidification capacity, you’re much better off investing in a portable A/C unit. Most of them have a de-humidification mode and typically draw out comparable amount of moisture. The other great benefit there is that they pump the heat outside (through the window exhaust) resulting in cool dry air inside.

Ahli: We have a couple rooms in our house that have been storing things for almost 10 years and we have not turn the heat on in there in the last couple years or so, so, a lot of moisture has eventually accumulated in all the clothes and books and furniture and carpet. We started to show mildew on the exterior walls and in the closets which has been a big drag throwing out things or laundering things slowly removing everything from the room possible but what’s left is the furniture and the carpet and the books so I wanted to try a dehumidifier . First, I had bought another company a small one that was designed to work for the square footage of my room, but it took a few days to get like a cup of water. But with this model, holy Toledo! With in less than six hours, it pulled out 22 pints of water. I bought the model that was designed to work in a 1500 square-foot area and I put two of them in each of the bedrooms that were barely 10 x 10 and for days upon days they each pulled out 22 pints of water, I was changing them twice a day for over a week once I got it down to finally 35% humidity and even lower I just continually ran them it took longer to pull more water out of the air but it...
