CAT: This is an excellent frittata-omelette maker.
My very first try was perfect and delicious, as well as super easy.
I first lightly oiled the molds with a Viva paper towel, pre-heated the unit till the green light went off and then poured the following mixture in:
3 eggs, about 1/4 cup thawed frozen spinach, 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese, and spices: garlic powder, onion powder, and some other spices that I like.
I put the mixture in a mini food processor first and mixed all ingredients nicely.
Then I poured the mixture into both halves, and voila……after about 10-12 minutes (I did 11) 2 perfectly cooked frittata halves.
The bottom was a nice golden brown and the top a beautiful green thanks to the spinach.
Delish!!!!
I used a damp paper towel while the unit was still slightly warm to wipe it clean very easily.
I will use this thing regularly and often.
No complaints.

Simon GreenSimon Green: This works great, very easy to use and the end result was a beautiful fluffy omlet on the very first attempt.
The only thing I had in the fridge to add was some shredded cheese, but that worked great with 4 eggs and a little salt and pepper. I probably put a little too much cheese in ("too much", is that even a thing?). I'm definitely going to try some of the other included recipes.
A quick spray with some oil while it heated up and then once the green light came on I just poured the mixture in equally to both sides. Left it a couple of minutes then kept checking on it every 30 seconds and when the top looked cooked I took them out. The bottoms weren't anymore overdone, so I wouldn't bother with the flipping technique someone else mentioned (I was worried about how the top would cook, but it fluffed up to make contact with the top).
Cleaning it was easy by wiping it down with a paper towel once it cooled down, and the cord wraps around the base for easy storage (it doesn't take up much space).
The steel top is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but meh - that's really "first world problem" nit-picking and nothing to worry about. So very happy with it, makes...

Sabra: I bought this used--like new, probably one of the returns from people who tried it once and didn't like it. Their loss.
The main complaint of this thing getting ridiculously hot is accurate, but that's par for the course for the most part. See any sandwich or waffle maker out there. It's not a huge deal unless you're pretty careless though.
It's a very easy-to-use object; the sort of thing my seven-year-old needed instructions on just once. I do let him and his older siblings use it, but I'm the sort of mom who lets her kids use the stove too. If you've raised them to be careful, there's no reason a kid can't use this. They know not to go over capacity.
Personally, I'm not crazy about the omelets this produces. The texture's not quite to my liking. But that's a personal preference thing, not a problem with the appliance. The kids quite like it, and they like the opportunity for creativity. Me, I've discovered it's excellent for cooking an egg over easy with even less effort than doing it on the stove. They basically steam themselves. My egg toast consumption has drastically increased, between this and Glucose Goddess's savory breakfast edict. I'm pretty sure...

LMK: It’s rated for 60Hz/120 V (usually the Americas). This ought to have been mentioned in the product details as it’s likely to burn/blow up if plugged in directly to UK power supplies. The plug is also 2-pin (not 3-pin).
Opt for the Tower Deep Fill Omelet maker instead of your country’s power supply is 240 Volts.

Paul J.: What I like is that this device does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. The end product has been predictable and perfectly fine. That being said, it does not produce omelets like you expect from a restaurant. Of course not... Would be a dream if it did! Instead of a beautiful chef-produced treat, you get a formed shape omelet that tastes great. Beats the heck out of a frozen omelet thrown in the micro.
Prior to this purchase my wife would make me an omelet for a special occasion. I love an omelet and would be good all week hoping to get lucky on Saturday morning. Happened once in a blue moon. With this machine, I get an omelet any time I want...
In any case, easy prep, brainless cooking ( we use a timer at 9 minutes ) and if you don't overfill, easy cleanup. This and microwave bacon or sausage and it's as easy as pouring a bowl of breakfast cereal.
Paul
Edit: Still grooving on the machine. To fight the preformed omelette look, we have been sprinkling some grated cheese on top AFTER cooking. Is hot enough to give some melt and slightly disguise the robo-chef appearance of the formed omelette.

R. Tyner: Now that I have this in my life I simply won't be able to live without it. I love omelets. As somebody that has no culinary skills this is the answer to my prayers. It's so simple and makes great omelets. I'm on the keto diet so I use this at least twice a day. Just know that your omelets are going to be a bit different than what you get on a pan, the outside is going to be brown and the omelet is more "cake-like" than what you may be used to. Doesn't bother me, still tastes delicious! This is for quick and easy omelets that are tasty, if you want diner quality you should probably go to a diner or get your pan out.
It only takes me about 5 minutes to cook my omelets. I see others say 8-10 minutes but all I know is that for my grill, it's perfectly done in about 5 minutes. But I do have my own strategy that I provide at the end of the review with tips.
I want to add that I read a lot of reviews for this product since I wanted to be informed. Reading the negative reviews, it does seem that there may be some kind of inconsistency with the heating element for some people. I saw people complain about burnt eggs or it taking too long or a runny middle. I have none of those...

S. MacNivenS. MacNiven: I've been using this almost daily since I got it and I love it. 4 stars because 2 large eggs plus toppings overflows, but 3 eggs split between both wells works perfectly. Omelettes are light and fluffy and cooked perfectly after 10 minutes. I saw a few reviews saying it had burn marks after 2 or 3 uses, but if you season it before first use, it doesn't burn.
