Patricia: I bought 1 for my room. It worked so well my son asked me to by one for his room. It cools down my room by blowing cool air in from outside but the fan also reverses so if my room get stuffy it will blow air out. It looks nice as well.

Jennifer: i bought this because i am a home based nail tech and my family doesn’t like the smell of monomer and i also have pets and the fumes of monomer can be dangerous but this is amazing!!!!! there is NO SMELL AT ALL it doesn’t linger around my house anymore it’s so great. i usually set it on high and the other medium and leave it running for 15-20 mins after putting the monomer away and this works great. it can be a little loud but it gets the job done!!!

EJ: I liked the fitting part but it barley fit so make sure to measure before you buy. The 1 bad thing about it is the power of the exhaust. There is no difference between 70% and 100% of speed. It still has more speed than the other 2 I bought in my life. It wouldn't have fit if it didn't come with the extender. Overall, for the exhaust which is why I bought it I give it a 9 out 10. If this sells more then send the check to my address.

JJ: I've been meaning to replace Ol' Reliable for the longest time. I'd had it for over 10 years and it just wasn't keeping up with the humid heat anymore. I think I found my unicorn. I'm VERY sensitive to the weather, so any amount of upgrades to my comfort I can get for a decent deal, YES.

I just set it in the window, click the knobs for L,M,H, and then if I don't want it on at the moment, I don't have to turn it off, I can just turn down the temp knob in the middle, and it'll come back on when the heat increases. Want cool air in, exhaust hot air out, or circulate? ONE BUTTON per side of the fan!

I use to have to open the window, put the fan in, cool the room, humid heat rises, open the window, turn the fan, over and over and over and over during the course of the whole summer!

Alleeum: In my opinion, this is the ideal window fan. Simple and clean design, separate controls for left and right, easily switches from intake to exhaust, no annoying LED light, and no unnecessary electronic remote control to have to keep track of.

The first one I bought is quiet and has run perfectly all summer, every summer, for six years — still going strong.

Unfortunately, the second one I bought three months ago was louder from the start, the left fan developed a rattle after only a few weeks, and the whole thing just stopped working, apropos of nothing, in the middle of last night. Sudden silence. No storm, no surge, the other things on the outlet are fine. Maybe it’s just a single dud?
