Valerie: I am an adamant Lyndsay Sands Reeder. This book follows her typical writing pattern with a twist to the ending. I have enjoyed many of her books and have audibly lol while reading. I gave this book a 4 stars because although it was good it didn't have me gasping as much as some of her others. That being said I am still a major fan of hers (like seriously I have double rows of her printed and I am filling up my kindle with the others as I ran out of room on my shelf.) I strongly recommend reading some of the others in this series but that being said the way Lyndsay writes you are able to pick up any of the books in her series and start reading. My first book by her was "Love bites" from her vampire romance series and have since read all of hers. I really enjoy her historical romance. Sometimes even more than her vampire depending on my mood. I will say that once you read her twist on vampires you will never look at any other vampire series the same because how she explains everything in every one of her books just makes so much sense. Over all she is my number one favorite authors but I feel like Annabelle's story was incredible compared to Claray's though that being said I can...

Sharon Dunstall: I absolutely loved this book. It caught me right from the beginning and as the story progressed, it just got better and better. The characters were so well written and it was easy to care about them and want them to succeed against all odds. A surprising twist ending tied up the storyline perfectly. Loved all of the 4 footed characters too, they really added to the story. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating! Read this book and enjoy!

Lynsay Sands is one of my go to authors when I need a bit of escapism - and she has never disappointed me.

If you enjoy a bit of tongue in cheek humour, sass, silliness, heat and some intrigue, you can't go wrong with picking up a Lynsay Sands book, as no matter if it's highlanders, Regency or PNR, that's her trademark.

Yet another fun filled book to while away a cold rainy day...
