Gardengirl76: I needed a scale that I could easily read. My old scale was not digital and I could only guess what the numbers were. This scale is very easy to read and calculates fast. I would caution to put it on a very flat floor. It works on my wood floor, but not accurate on my tile floor. The base is large and easy to stand on. If one could really love a scale..I am in love haha!!

S.: This scale worked fairly well. Easy to stand on and stayed steady. Occasionally felt a bit slippery while wearing tube socks and perhaps the angle upon which you get on. The negative is that the battery does not last long and that the weight can fluctuate up to 10 lbs, but most of the time it is within 5 lbs of each reading. Has a nice clear glowing screen that can be seen in the daylight or dark room.
