arizonaarizona: In my experience HH is a top technical brand. This doesn’t hit the mark in too many ways. Pros: Stylish, great fitting hood, zippers and snaps in right places. Including inside breast pocket. Cons: Heavy and bulky for travel. Not breathable. It really creates a sweat. Pockets are shallow. (No excuse for this!) wrist openings are so small that I have to remove my tiny watch to take my coat off or on. And for those of you that like to advertise wearing prestige brands, there is only one small logo on the upper sleeve.

As for sizing, I am 5’1” 120lbs and a size S/P is plenty generous in every fit concern except the noted wrist opening. It’s also very flattering.

A.: Tras leer comentarios no veía claro pagar 130e. Pero a 67,99 decidí pedir. Talla M, me queda justa de cadera aunque de hombros me va perfecta y de cintura grande al ser recta. La devuelvo para pedir una L a 68,99.

No conocía la marca y me llama la atención que ni las cremalleras ni los corchetes estén personalizados con la marca completa o su logo. Antes de que me llegue la L me pasaré por una tienda física para comprobar si es lo normal en la marca.

Kitty: Ich habe jetzt insgesamt 5 Helly Hansen Regenjacken in Größe XL anprobiert, was meine reguläre Größe ist, aber alle sind zu eng geschnitten. Scheinbar ist die Ware irgendwie anders geschnitten. Werde wohl wieder auf Jack Wolfskin zurückgreifen, da passt mir XL immer.

KASNY: Wore it in Alaskan summer this year. Didn't rain though, we lucked out. perfect hood. wore it on the water perfect warmth, love the length. Wish is came in more colors. I also have the insulated version...nice and toasty.

White..... not great.....too much coat for white.

DOKTAT: Die Regenjacke sitzt locker, habe sie extra eine Nr größer bestellt, damit man auch mal einen dickeren Pullover darunter anziehen kann. Sportlicher Schnitt, sieht sehr vorteilhaft aus. Sehr nützliches Teil, gut für windiges und regnerisches Wetter. Absolute Empfehlung.

David M.: I have owned brand name rain gear that has eventually left me soaked in a rain storm. This coat is a great value for the money. It fits true to size - leaving you comfortable with shirt and light sweater underneath. I love the length - at a sporting event you have enough length to sit on the coat and when walking around, it covers your thighs and keeps more of you dry.

BubblegumPrincess: This coat is chic enough to wear on a rainy day in Paris, sturdy enough to wear hiking in the woods, and edgy enough to blend into the bar crowds at night. I have a collection of raincoats, but as soon as I got this one, the rest went into storage! I love this coat, and its been money very well spent.

I've been using it regularly through the rainy winter and spring (since December of 2019), and its held up really well. No leaks, and it looks brand new despite the fact that I have put it through the ringer. I honestly love to walk in the rain, and this has kept me cozy and dry. Its got a little bit of weight to it, so its perfect for those 40 to 70 degree rainy days...but any warmer than that and it starts getting a little hot in there.

I'm slender/average - 5'7" with a 34' bust and hip, and the medium fits me very well. Just roomy enough that I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath, but also not too lose for the days when I'm just wearing a t-shirt. As others have said, the cuffs are pretty tight, but I don't mind it!

The only con is the pockets. My jacket arrived with a small hole in one of the pockets- but the fleece was easily sewn up, and I haven't...

AvidReader: I love this jacket. I bought it 2 1/2 years ago for a trip to Scotland in November. It kept me warm and cozy (sometimes with a fleece jacket underneath) in cold weather and dry during heavy rain in the Highlands. It can be folded up and put in a small backpack (mine is 15L). It also is breathable - I never got too warm in it in 40 and 50 F weather. I wore it home a lot and then again this past May when I went to Ireland. I'm about to go to Paris, where it has been unusually warm for February. I had planned to take my long down coat, but this will be perfect for this trip, as it looks like it will rain a lot.

I noticed that someone said in a review that the jacket was not waterproof. All I know is that when I was in Oban in northern Scotland and it was raining cats and dogs (so to speak) with strong winds coming off the sea, and I had to walk from my B&B near the edge of town into the center to find a restaurant for dinner, and later back, it kept me dry under conditions that would soak an all-weather coat or even my water-resistant winter down coat.

In addition to protection from rain and sleet, having it zip well above the neck and having a hood means that one...
