RNMom131RNMom131: Light works great! Love that you can change the colors, and use it for all the holidays! Used purple settings for Halloween and using red & Green for Christmas. Just make sure you keep your remote in a safe spot! You need that to make all the changes to color, speed, etc. We have the remote in the living room, and can easily control it through the window without having to go outside. You can program it to run for a set amount of hours, but I just leave it on all the time. Covers a large amount of the house!

My experiment was thrown off by the fact that setting
The timer, changes the colour of a nearby floodlight
😯🙄😂..

Anyway..heres the nutshell..
If it never loses power and is just off, it
Remembers its setting, so you can just turn it on w the
Remote, and from a fair distance
...
If i leave it on my timer, i hafta reset
The setting, but honestly it takes like 5 seconds to set
So no biggie..
...and truthfully all the settings actually look pretty good

they're a pain... Cords are long and 2 prong.. But skinny

Greg D: These lights when powered down (electrically unplugged) revert to a factory default. Was red, now its white auto random. Without an ability to set a default color, these are useless in any display. Also, if you have more than one, the remote will randomly reset all others depending on how its aimed. It is an RF remote (radio waves), not an infrared (directional) remote. Having to remove the lights, bring them in, reset them one by one, and put them back out is unacceptable. I will never buy these again.

Kandace c.Kandace c.: I just received this light. Added batteries to remote and plugged in however it is not working. Turned on power button, hit timer. Am I missing something? No instructions included.
Revised: the prongs were bent, after realignment I was able to plug in properly and got the light to work.
