This worked out great and was an easy to set up and operate device. I have a very small home so the fact that this has kind of a “small pattern” didn’t bother me at all- it was easy to reposition and point to different spots if need be. I like the “basicness” of the pattern too, so over all, pleased with the purchase. I’ve also set it up inside the house as a fun “night light” projection on my guest bedroom ceiling- worked out great (assuming the guest is a halloween fan). If I end up in a bigger home eventually, I’d consider getting a second or third just to expand the pattern’s projection.

What I wanted was orange colored laser light projector to project up into my tree, but they don't make orange colored laser lights so this was next best. Would prefer if it had auto dusk/dawn light sensor but we hooked it up to a timer and that solved the problem of turning it on and off every evening. It does not come with a remote. Lights are very bright, it was easy to use, just plug into timer - the timer does all the work.

I had these up and running on our front wall for Halloween. It was a big hit. We have a large showing of kids and they all loved getting group selfies with this running in the background. Of course they are running all over your lawn, but it's just grass, let them have some fun. :) The only thing I noticed was that you can only turn it on with the remote. I tried to use an automatic plug so that it would come on at sundown, but when the plug goes live, the display wouldn't start. You have to come out and start it with the remote. All in all for the price a fun display for Halloween.

This is a sturdy unit. It takes outdoor abuse well. Too bad it comes from China, but it is led, so hardly uses any power at all. The pumpkins really stand out against any surface

But I emailed the company and they sent me a new one, which I put in a dryer spot, and it worked great.
Morning dew doesn’t seem to affect it but any heavy rain or sprinklers will definitely leak in.
But it’s so super cute projecting on our outside wall. We were the hit of the neighborhood this year.
