Lynda Dunbar: I can only have 1000mg of sodium per day and it's so hard to find foods that really are low sodium. This stuff is very low sodium and tastes good. I like a lot of foods that I like ketchup on, so I go through A LOT of this stuff. It's definitely expensive, but I don't have much alternative (and I think they know that). It would be nice if they made larger bottles of it and lowered the price. If you're on a sodium restricted diet I definitely recommend this. I'd even recommend it to people that aren't on a restricted diet.

Albert Baylis: i needed to cut back on salt in the diet. It is amazing how much salt is poured into almost everything. this ketchup still tasted like ketchup and except for the price was just what was needed. Generally condiments have excess salt and then tell you how much is in them for one serving. But that serving is so small that you must multiply by the number of tablespoons or teaspoons you actually use-usually at least three times as much. Not good for the kidneys!

Silent Gloves: I've recently been put on a low-sodium diet. My goal is to stay below about 50% of the recommended daily allowance. As you can imagine, this is incredibly difficult. If there are two compounds found in literally everything, they are salt and sugar. As part of this diet, I needed some condiments that taste good, while also being low in sodium. This ketchup replaces Sodium Chloride (table salt), with Potassium Chloride. Potassium Chloride is a common table salt replacement. In its raw form, it has a really unpleasant after-taste, but I've found that after-taste to be absent from this product. This ketchup is slightly sweeter, and slightly less tangy than standard ketchup, but after going through two bottles, I actually prefer this ketchup to the standard variety. There is no weird after-taste; it is just a sweet, slightly less tangy ketchup. As such, it gets five stars. It's wonderful on anything on which would use ketchup; burgers, fries, meatloaf, etc. A low-sodium diet is boring and mildly depressing, but this is the one bright spot. Just buy it.
