JoEllen: This is the best cover I have bought for my Performer so far. It's two years old and sitting in full sun. It has faded very slightly, but still looks good and is still watertight. It's easy to put on and take off. Very happy with this purchase.

NARAKI: I am really impressed with this brand of grill covers. Living here in Hawaii, the sun is brutal on outdoor items, and so called outdoor covers, just don't last for more than a year or two. However this brand of covers has outlasted my last grill, still covering my smoker, and now I just got this for my new Weber kettle and it is a PERFECT fit.

replayreplay: Hoping this grill cover will last more than a couple of seasons, unlike my last one. The coated side of the fabric is on the outside and it does shed water well. I couldn't find a good fitting cover for my original Stainless Steel Performer, which has the square tube frame with longer handles. I followed the recommendation of another poster and cut small cutouts for the square tubes on the right side and it fit perfect. No bunching bagginess, fits snug and very little water pooling on the flat surfaces. I'm hoping this will last 5 or 6 seasons. The original Weber cover was a really good one that lasted 10-12 years. I don't know why they can't make those anymore. Fingers crossed and did need a new grill brush anyway.

Amazon Customer: This is a decent grill cover for the money but it's not really thick or heavy. It has 1 Velcro strap that wraps around 1 leg to hold it down and the wind keeps blowing it off the BBQ. We had to put another cover that we purchased at Costco that is much heavier over it too keep the wind from blowing it off. I think if it had 4 Velcro straps instead of 1 it would do a better job of staying put, otherwise it's not a bad quality. I can't help but wonder if I purchased the Weber brand instead if I would have the same problem.

Western: The King Kong 7152 Grill Cover (as seen in the online product listing) appears to be tailored to fit a single, dome-topped Weber 22" Performer Grill. It is not. It is a generic cover that is a better fit for a standard grill (i.e. not the single dome of the Performer Grill). As a result, there is a bunch of extra fabric where water, snow, and debris accumulates. It also presents additional windage -- so that the cover is prone to blowing off / shifting position when placed over the Weber 22" Performer Grill. The photo in the ad is a misrepresentation of the product being sold. It is unfortunate that the seller and Amazon permit this to go unchecked. It might be a good product for the proper grill type -- but it isn't what was advertised.
