Brooke: I bought this for my son who was going to 2 outdoor camps this summer where he wasn’t allowed to take a typical piece of luggage. This bag has been amazing! So roomy! He was able to pack a sleeping bag and pillow, full weeks worth of regular clothing and special activities clothing and blanket and snacks. I was surprised at the quality for the price. Super happy with it.

nataly: This is a very strong, durable, and quality product. The only complaint we have is that the sizing wasn’t as clear as it could have been and is rather awkward for packing.
We ordered small, medium, and then large, not realizing how small the small and medium bags were. The depth/circumference of the bag is about the size of one of those large, classic, sleeping bags you used to take camping and roll up (not those new ones that shrink down to like a purse). Once you start to fill the bag, the length decreases significantly. I know that sounds ridiculously obvious, but some duffles have lengths and depths that are large enough that you don’t feel the space contract as you pack it if you know what I mean. Not so with these. The material is hardy and somewhat inflexible so if you’re planning on packing a lot, be advised that you may find they have significantly less space than you may think. If in doubt I’d recommend you go for the larger sizes as once you start filling them you realize they’re not as large as you may have thought or seen in the photos.
Also be advised that the larger ones don’t necessarily have more by way of space circumference-wise, just length....

Amazon Customer: I have purchased 3 or 4 bags over the last 10 years to check my scuba gear on flights. Not looking for bags that are too padded or secure since I mostly pack fins and wet suits and am not too worried about damage. Each bag had reviews that promised very sturdy and reliable bags. Every one lasted at most 4-6 trips. They weren’t bad, but just didn’t live up to the promise of the product description or reviews.

I ordered this bag with some significant trepidation since the description and reviews weren’t too dissimilar to the others… and I was leaving on a dive trip a week later. I am so glad I got this bag. It is dead simple, a large canvas bag. But it looks to be plenty big (I got the large) for all my gear, and looks like it will be much more durable than all the previous bags which all ended up being thrown out after a few trip (they all worked out ok, it just didn’t stand up to the riggers of air travel).

So, in summary, if you are looking for a large solid canvas bag that should last, I don’t think you’ll regret this one.
