I like the simplicity, stability (they have non skid feet on the bottom) and the price was just right! I mean...seven pairs! I have multiple music books and now I can stand them up, with these book ends (rather than just stacking them in a corner somewhere). They could be a tad bit higher, but yet, they still keep my taller books in place.

well- finished, and tall enough to support larger books, as well as to show off a simple elegance of design. pads on bottom prevent skidding. These are my second set -visually very subtle within the cases of my personal library. Absolutely do the job. For the quality, the price is reasonable and fair.

These bookends are sturdy enough to actually hold the books up and have 3 pads on the bottom to protect surfaces. I would prefer the full felt bottoms but for the price these are adequate.

For me, these have been perfect. Functional with no fancy stuff, built to last. A pair holds over a dozen large cookbooks well. Definitely would recommend if you don't need a fancy-looking pair of bookends.
