M. McGowan: Excellent Carabiner Clips. Very sturdy, easy to use. Awesome price for what you get. I'll be purchasing more of these exact ones. They work well with a tactical backpack - which I use on 10 hour hikes through the mountains. I'm not a mountain climber who uses ropes - I use these for securing my equipment onto my backpack (MOLLE paneling) - which prevents my equipment from swinging about while hiking.

Alyson Moy: Compared to the endless cheap carabiners available for purchase for lightweight use these are leagues better. These are machined well with all the parts matching up where they need to and most importantly the lock absolutely cannot just twist itself open or out of alignment with jiggling. To open the lock you have to twist the spring loaded knurled piece 90 degrees then push open. Also the aluminum actually feels very strong and durable. The crappy carbineers all over the market practically feel like aluminum foil and their locking beads just screw on loosely in either direction to the point that they can just spin off the opening they are supposed to lock. If you need your stuff to not fall off the clip get these.

SouthTex: bought these a while back to use as a holder for my keys on my belt. ended up loving them so much that i bought two more orders and made a paracord shoulder strap for my edc maxpedition remora using them. i keep a few on hand as backup. great if you want a quality carabiner at have the price and half the size.
