Amazon Customer: These are nice, inexpensive little locking carabiners for securing items in situations where you need the safety of locking carabiner. I'm a whitewater boater, and in our sport we've come to realize the dangers presented by non-locking 'biners. These are perfect for securing water bottles and other small items. NOTE: THESE ARE NOT FOR USE IN LOAD-BEARING SITUATIONS!!

Amy: These were perfect for us. Lots of more expensive versions with the same features and build quality.
These have a rotating lock and moves up and down the level to prevent it from being opened.
The rotating portion moves smooth and freely.
They are strong and do not fall apart with heavier usage.
They look good, we use them for our keys and locks for gates and they do not look like the type you get at a gas station counter.
Highly recommend.

Warren Clark: A bit deceptive but if you read the detail that's enough. I use them in my small boat rigging as a sacrificial part. I would rather break one of these than do damage to the expensive hulls or carbon fittings.
They have worked hard but no signs of giving way so far.
