Stars in Rancho Cucamonga: SAVE $$$$!!!!! If you’re able, replace your springs yourself. It really isn’t hard to do. Just watch how on YouTube. They wanted over $400 to change mine. $96 and about 1.5 hours and they’re done. They tell you how DEADLY changing your springs can be. Maybe. But if you use common sense and be careful, it’s pretty easy to do. AND I SAVED OVER $300!!! 👍

G in Makakilo: This product arrived quickly and complete. Instructions were clear and concise enough to understand. Recommend watching videos a couple of times if you haven't attempted this replacement before and TAKE YOUR TIME. Make sure you understand what measurements are needed to insure you are ordering the correct replacement. Saved at least $250 doing this and it cost me 45 min of my time. I call that a WIN!

Joe DaigneaultJoe Daigneault: Great replacement spring for OEM torsion springs on grave door we had installed new 4.5 years ago. Our garage door use is very HIGH… in and out, up and down multiple times per day. As long as you measure the springs you’re replacing and get the same size you’ll be good to go. There are a bunch of YT vids explaining the process step by step. I used the one with 2M views and the young guy presenting. Very good vid. Be sure to take your time and be very methodical with the steps. As with any energized spring project this has the potential for serious injury. But… if you take your time and save the beers for after you’re finished you’ll be fine. The company who installed the garage door quoted me $345 to come out and do the work so I figured I saved over $200 by doing it myself.

Bethany A Cirota: Just need to see how durable they are. I will update if anything happens. But it has been a few months with no complaints.

George P: The workmanship seems to be very good. The 7-foot-high garage door turned 31 times. It can accurately pull the garage door to the 5-foot high position and then stop. I hope this product can be like my original garage door spring, the same use for 20 years or more.

JKC: I have two 90 lb single-wide, 8ft wide by 7 ft tall, garage doors. I did not need a dual-spring set and only needed the right spring but could not find anyone who had a single in stock. I found this dual spring at Amazon where the price was low enough to justify purchasing. Cheaper than having a garage door service come out and replace. I will keep the left spring and use on the other garage door (flipped to the right side) when it requires replacement. I like that the tensioning bars are included with the springs. It will take several years before I can determine if these are a reliable product. This was my first time replacing a spring and I have advanced home DIY skills. I had the old spring removed and the new one installed in about an hour. If you've never replaced one before, watch a video online before install; they are easy to find. Doing it wrong can be dangerous but doesn't require a specialist to perform. I do not recommend if you don't have DIY skills. Make sure you order the proper spring. Measure your spring and match exactly. If you want a longer lasting spring you can increase the wire diameter along with a length increase to increase it's...

Jimmidean: You better know what you are doing to install these but the kit itself is great.
The torsion bars sure make it a lot easier and safer to install.
