Cony: Just as advertised. You can tell they're well made. When you got your hands in the path of that winding cone, you don't want some cheap cast pot-metal that might crack apart. I needed 320lbs. of lift and these gold springs did the job.
However I will say the shipping was delayed, which is a bummer when you can't open your garage door.

K Schlege: I replaced some 33" springs for a double wooden door and probably should have gone with the 35" instead. B0727PKSWM
I was able to crank them enough to lift the door, but it was a lot of work near the end. Probably need to crank both about another 4 turns each, but could still lift the door pretty easily.

MillerMiller: These springs have been installed for a week now and my garage door works better than it has in quite some time.
I purchased the “used” springs, offered for $20 less than new. Turned out to be a great value since the springs were perfect and looked brand new.
After watching several videos, installation brought no surprises, but BE CAREFUL. There is a lot of tension on door springs. Take your time when winding, stay out of the way of the path of those winding rods should you lose your grip and take nothing for granted. Make sure everything is tightened down before releasing your grip on the winders.
And, that brings me to a minor, but worthy complaint. Our door is a big (18 feet), heavy wooden door which uses large springs. I normally don’t quibble about a freebie, but the free, included winding rods are about half as long as they need to be. The installer will have to put a lot of pressure on those winders as the turn count increases. The ones I got were 12” long and there was no way to turn that short rod after about 20 turns. Fortunately, I have a 16” piece of stout pipe I could use to slip over the end of the rod to get more leverage. Rods that are longer...
