BC: I love this yoga mat. My feet feel secure during practice and with the wider mat my knees stay on the mat in child’s pose. It seems nice and sturdy, has worn well the last few months. I like having the little markers on the mat that help me be more consistent in my poses.

When using the mat, I kept noticing that my toes were hitting the pavement. Since I am slightly under 5’ 10 “, (70 inches), I thought something was off. I measured the mat and the length was only 71”, not the 72” claimed. Just enough for my toes to extend beyond the edge of the mat. So maybe they made an error when rounding from metric, but still it was not as big as claimed which is a large part of the reason for buying this mat.

That said, I still like this mat and would recommend it.

DH: The mat has great grip power both between the floor and the mat and your feet and the mat. The reason I gave it four stars for comfort is it is a little thin. I needed a pad for my knees to be comfortable. I cannot rate durability because I have only had it for a few days.
All in all, great mat for the price.

Crystal: It does slip a little on hardwood floors, but there's an easy fix involving double sided tape on one corner. It is durable, hasn't ripped yet. The lines are nice to help a newbie to yoga like myself line up my form for the poses and exercises. It's soft and cushiony. Easy to carry with you. I'm not sure I like the strap being separate but it rolls up nice and tight and then you use the separate cord to tie it and can carry it anywhere. Overall, I'm satisfied. I didn't have to break the bank for the mat and now I don't have to break my knees for the yoga. Also, portability isn't an issue. Apparently, if I'm not happy with how this is set up to be carried, I can buy a yoga mat bag. It also stores easily and doesn't take up too much room. Which is great cause otherwise my cats might think it's a scratching pad for them. Being as that's not what it's meant for, I don't really want to know how well it will hold up against their claws. I didn't notice any kind of funky smell which I was warned could be the case with some mats. Overall, I'm happy with it.

michele: devo dire che è davvero un ottimo tappetino per iniziare lo yoga od il pilates, ormai è qualche anno che lo sto utilizzando e tra un po ne dovrò comprare un altro. Devo dire che ci si trova bene ad utilizzarlo, io non ho sentito tutti questi odori che ho letto, forse solo i primi 2 o massimo tre giorni ma quello perché ti arriva impallato e chiuso poi una volta che lo utilizzi e sta all'aria aperta quell'odore se ne va via, come dicevo si lavora bene sul tappetino e lo consiglio per chi fa yoga ma non quello bikram (dentro una sauna) visto che se si suda in modo eccessivo si perde un po di presa, io mi ci sono allenato sotto il sole d'estate e facevo posizioni di equilibrio con le mani e la tenuta ci stava, ma ho notato che quando si bagnava in modo eccessivo un po di aderenza si perdeva

KirstyKirsty: I ordered this mat as a beginner yogi. The thickness is fantastic - really supportive in certain poses.
I have used it outside a couple of times and it does collect dirt quite easily but it wipes clean without an issue.
The colours are lovely and just what I was hoping for.
The only reason for 4 stars is I don’t think the mat is suitable for everyone, I find when I get hot and a bit clammy my hands slip a little.
For beginner yogis like me I would say it’s a win as it provides a lot of softness while learning. Also if you use it as a fitness mat it will be good for push ups / burpees etc.
However as my yoga practice becomes more advanced (Not going to happen over night) I think I would have to change to a mat that my hands won’t slip on.

Ich kann selbst ein Lied davon singen, dass es gar nicht so einfach ist die passende Matte zu finden. Aber es ist möglich.

Hier stelle ich dir in aller Kürze zwei Yogamatten aus meinem Mattentest vor, die in etwa im gleichen Preissegment sind.

MBMB: Pretty happy so far. My photos show a very accurate representation of actual mat colour (nothing like that in marketing photo) but I researched that on all Amazon’s international sites and knew what to expect before buying. Thought a photo might be useful to add to the UK site. It’s comfortable, a great size (slightly longer and wider than standard), pretty grippy for standard yoga and the guide markers have been brilliant in helping my alignment. Carry strap is useful. My only concern is that it seems to mark quite easily. Some indentations from yoga poses have gone after leaving the mat for an hour or so but the zipper handle from my running tights has scratched it already after my first practise. I think the sticky mats would have been a bit more forgiving but that’s a small price to pay for the 6mm cushioning. Perfect thickness for comfort, without compromising stability. Other Amazon sites have shown that these appear not to wear that well but time will tell! I’m hopeful it will be ok. Will report back if have any problems! For the price it ticks a lot of the boxes. Grippy, comfy, useful markers, rolls easily, carry straps included, environmentally friendly...
