cat blais: Extremely complex with a long list of ingredients. Not for beginners. Also some are very high fat.The dessert section is nice, however.

Shannon: I can’t believe the author boast about how it’s so inexpensive, week 1 groceries cost me $300 for 2 people. That’s week one! Shes completely out of touch with what the average person is spending on groceries that she think $300/week is cheap. Doesn’t take into account substitutions that would be cheaper options (like seasonal vegetables), but also it’s very difficult to deviate from the meals. If you didn’t get cauliflower because it was $6 a head, there aren’t any other options to replace the ingredient or replace the meal. You don’t know what are the staple items that you should be picking up every week, and what are the one time ingredients. Very poor job with meal prepping. Everything is one day at a time, I work so I have 1 day to prep for the whole week. At least all week you can get a better snapshot of what groceries you’ll be using and how many you’ll need. Your nutrients are based on daily, not meal which makes it more difficult for you to swap out meals or ingredients (coming back to seasonal vegetables and on sale grocery items). It’s a fad, and highly unsustainable for the average person. It’s just another lose weight fast diet, only you have...

Helen L: I was already vegan and interested in trying out raw, but didn’t really know where to start. This book gives a helpful introduction to a raw diet. It contains a three week meal plan with shopping lists and day by day instructions on what to prep etc. All the recipes I have tried so far have been delicious and I am excited to try more of them! I will definitely continue to incorporate some of this way of eating into my diet in future.

Kimico: This is a great book for beginners who are adapting to a raw vegan lifestyle. Also, it was very informative and easy to understand the recipes what it entails to prepare raw food cuisine. I really like the recipes and I'm looking forward to trying them all. This book will help me with transitioning to a mostly raw vegan and vegan lifestyle.

Suzanne M.: I really like the recipes, but most important to me is this book includes the calories in each meal. Not a lot of books do that, and it’s why I purchased this one. Very much appreciated!!

BrandiBrandi: Where do I start? There is so much I learned from this in the first week alone! I highly advise watching videos on YouTube concerning what to expect during the "detox" portion of this diet plan. It is no joke. Lethargy to the point you feel narcoleptic. I had to head straight home because I feared passing out. The headaches weren't the worst either. I thought it was lack of calories but it turned out being my body detoxing the previous chemicals that were pumped into my body for years. I slept for like 12 hrs the second day. Every day I woke up and ate, I felt energized like no other. It was like a system reboot! The negative side effects wore off by the fourth day. I never craved junk food and I thoroughly enjoyed all the nutritious food I was receiving. Money wise, it was a bit expensive. The first week I spent about $250. Most ingredients I found at the grocery store and others I bought off Amazon. Raw and not roasted are very important when selecting nuts. The almond milk was amazing to taste, see and make. It opened my eyes as to what we think is healthy when grocery shopping. The meal prep was a bit extensive and some days/nights took more than others. I lost about a pound a...

Greg Annett: I'm currently on a very strict diet for health reasons and each of the recipes I have tried so far is easy to do, taste even better than I expected (especially coming from someone that is not typically Vegan) and my body has already shown benefits from the tips and tricks in this book. I can't wait to try every recipe in this book. Highly recommended!

Darcy: I followed the meal plan for about two weeks. I have been transitioning into veganism for a while and I felt most of the recipe ingredients were easy to find and on hand. When I didn’t have an ingredient, such as chlorophyll powder, I just left it out and the food tasted fine. I felt great following this diet.
There were two issues with this book. The recipes made SO MUCH FOOD. I tried cutting recipes in half, and then later in half again. I tried not making the snacks and eating giant lunches. I tried eating lunch and dinner in two settings. But at the end of the day, I threw out a lot.
The second issue was discovered when I stopped making the snacks. I found later on in the week a breakfast smoothie called for some left over batter of one of the snacks. No where in the snack was this mentioned, nor were there instructions to reserve part of the batter. I didn’t buy the ingredients for this snack because I had already planned to not eat it. It felt very frustrating.
The whole book seemed like it was written and great on paper, but no one had actually followed the meal plan in the editing phase to find the issues. I do plan to buy a hard copy of this book...

Catherine: I love this book. I've never enjoyed raw food much but I got this book to help manage my autoimmune disease. It's definitely a lot of prep work, but the recipes are easy and super delicious! Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the dehydrated elements in the book (mostly optional), but the rest was great.
Easy to follow, delicious and easy to get a hold of ingredients. It made 3 weeks of eating raw infinitely easier than I thought it would be and made it easier to commit to eating raw. It's definitely helped with my symptoms, dramatically!
