I use it for two lamps I have in my living room and love that I am able to command both plugs or one at a time depending on how much light I need. This is really a great plug and worth the price.

PegsiePegsie: Had my Moccamaster plugged into a single Smart plug so I could set up my coffee the night before and have it automated drip-brewed when I wake up in the morning. However, I got tired of switching from the Moccamaster to my Fellow Stagg EKG gooseneck during the weekends when I have more time to make pourover (plus the temperature setting on the Stagg resets each time you plug/unplug).

This was one of the few single unit, dual outlet smartplugs I found on Amazon. It's working flawlessly! Easy to set up, integrates with Alexa, uses the Tuya app (which we already use for a few other smart devices) on the phone for more advanced scheduling. I keep one powered all the time to my Stagg gooseneck, and the Moccamaster on a timer. Supplies adequate power for the Stagg and the Moccamaster - though I've not used both at the same time yet.

Aesthetically, I would have preferred a square shape rather than the rounded edges but that's very minor. Great deal and really makes my life easier.

Derrick: I landed on this product for three reasons: 1) the price, 2) the reviews, 3) the fact that some smart plugs came with 2 outlets. I bought four of the 2-outlet type, and 4 of the single outlet type. I also bought a 2-outlet outdoor smart plug. All 3 orders are on their way back to Amazon as I type this out. I've been an IT network engineer for almost 30 years, so I'm very technical.

I bought these products to be able to turn on/off my Christmas decorations outside, as well as 12 window candle lights that have been working just fine with RF switch plugs. I wanted a solution whereby I could just hit a button on my phone and turn all candle lights and outside lights off at once, rather than going room-to-room hitting a button on a remote. I also wanted to be able to see if the lights were on while I'm not at home, so a cloud app was a necessity (I'm able to monitor the temperature of my upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems this way, as well as my outdoor cameras, which I love!).

My WiFi router is currently operating in dual-mode (a.k.a Smart Connect). That is to say that it broadcasts a SSID for both 2.4Ghz b/g/n and 5Ghz a/n/ac 802.11 spectrums. So if something only...

Carolyn Z: Like others, I found the written instructions to be really hard to follow. And I'm not bad at this kind of stuff generally.

BUT! Within those odd instructions, there was a link to the website which had a video that was very very easy to follow, and now, my outlets are connected to the Tuya App and Alexa.

Great product, and easy to use, but do yourself a favor and go right out to the website and video and you'll be set!

NeShun: I have a number of Alexa enabled devices(plugs, lights, power strips, etc.) this was the hardest one to connect. Typically it only takes a couple minutes to register, connect and allow Alexa to discover the item. This one was not that simple; however, it eventually connected and is working well.
