WilsonWilson: My betta likes to eat this food pellet. The size is small. I feed him morning and night, and each time he only eats about 6-8 pellets. My betta is healthy from feeding this food after a year. Highly recommended.

jea: I love this because they are pellets that sink to the bottom. I have top feeders too but all have learned when they fall thats where you eat them lol. They feel super hard to pick them up but into the water when they sink they immediately go soft and blow up to look like weird colored cotton but kinda stay in shape. When they get soaked they get larger so you dont have to use a ton. My overstocked tank i use 7 pellets. They dont cloud water but will make a mess is you have a messer eater who digs right it because when they do break apart they will break and float around, think about a goldfish eating.

wannabe perfectionist 💬wannabe perfectionist 💬: The media could not be loaded.  My 12 yrs old son wanted a fish tank so we purchased 2.5 gallon fish tank with a Betta fish.
I was so proud of him because he did all the research himself to figure out what he needs to buy and how to setup and maintain the fish tank.

We purchased this Wardley pellets based on this research and you can't really go wrong with its price.
The container is smaller than other fish food but it's packed with pellets, and it looks like it's going to take a year before running out.

I have included some photos to show the size in scale as well as video of the feeding.
It's been over 8 months since we purchased the Betta fish and the fish is still doing well and enjoying this food.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended! I hope this helps and if it did, please click on the helpful button below. Thank you!

Mike H: Who ever said Goldfish are NOT picky? My four Commons turn up their noses at anything new. I fed them TetraFin Goldfish Flakes since I bought them (for an aquaponics project) January 2013. These are the sole survivors of 20. I have tried shrimp once (Tetra Baby Shrimp) and they weren't enthusiastic about it and barely nibbled on it for 2 or three days. After a week just feeding them shrimp, they accepted it (albeit, grudgingly). They never went "frenzy" on it like they do the flakes.
I introduced them to the pellets, with reservations, only because my automatic feeder didn't do well with flakes (Daily Double II by Penn Plax). I'm about to leave for Las Vegas and away for two weeks and concerned the fish wouldn't be fed enough with flakes. With flakes in the feeder, a very small amount (about the size of a dime with maybe a flake or two thick). I usually feed them manually, pinching a quarter-sized portion about an 1/8th inch thick-hmmm about five flakes maybe? BTW- I read in Amazon reviews of the feeder, flakes about an 1/8th inch were better suited. I'll try that. Maybe crush them a bit before loading the feeder?
I went to a chain pet store ( I needed the NOW- sorry...

Brian D Smith: I like to give my community tank (Serpae Tetras, Boeasmani Rainbows, an Albino Pleco, an unidentified pleco, Black Kuhli Loaches, a Rainbow Shark and Green Tiger Barbs) a variety of foods. So, I alternate between TetraMin Flakes for Tropical Fish, Spirulina Flakes, New Life Community Fish food pellets and OmegaOne Shrimp Pellets. I've never seen them all go so crazy over anything I've put in the tank before. It's a feeding frenzy when I drop them in the tank.

I'll compare these to the OmegaOne Shrimp Pellets I've been feeding. First of all, these are cheap, cheap, cheap. The can was less than half the price of the OmegaOne pellets I had and it's twice the size. So, they are economical. However, the OmegaOnes have shrimp and fish as the first six ingredients before you get into the wheat. Wardley Shrimp Pellets are wheat middlings (whatever that is), shrimp meal, fish meal, fish oil... etc. So, wheat is the predominant single ingredient in the Wardley product. Since we don't have a breakdown on actual percentages, it's possible there's more fish (adding up the shrimp meal and fish meal) than wheat. But, it's not likely. On the other hand, the OmegaOne product is mostly fish....
