Dirk: The kitchen faucet is 15 years old and still looks great. It started leaking slowly a few weeks ago. Some times it stopped when jiggling the handle a little. I ordered this HG replacement part and had the faucet fixed in 5 minutes. The design quality of the HG products is just awesome.

Originalteil, darum auch passgenau.
Der Einbau (Wechel) war in ein paar Minuten erledigt und auch von Laien problemlos zu bewerkstelligen.
Ein Inbusschlüssel liegt bei, um den Mischkopf zu lösen. Ein Steckschlüssel sollte jedoch in richtiger Größe vorhanden sein, um die Befestigungsmutter (Kunststoff) zu lösen.
Zur Not geht auch eine Rohrzange, wenn man etwas Vorsicht walten lässt.
Der Wechsel der Keramik ist fast selbsterklärend.
Ausführliche Anleitung (Bilderklärung), für verschiedenen Armaturen, liegt bei.
Bin rundum zufrieden und die Armatur tropft auch nicht mehr. :-)

Steven: Perfect fit for single handle HANSGROHE bathroom faucet. When changing the cartridge, the old one may fight you on removing it. On one I did, it was just stuck in there like glue. The sides are plastic so I figured to just pull it out with force which I did. The old one blew apart so I had to pick out the pieces. Then did a flush for the debris. Some plumber’s grease and the new one went it smoothly. Worked like new. Be sure to match the pins on the bottom of the cartridge with the valve body. They have (removable) pins on the new cartridge to use if there are holes at the bottom of the valve body. If there are pins already at the valve body bottom, simply break off the cartridge pins to reveal the holes in the cartridge. Then slide in.

SteveOSteveO: First, I bought this cartridge because, after 9 years of use (installed in 2012), the faucet handle had become stiff. Used to rotate easily and the water turn on easily. Over the course of the last couple of weeks it had become increasingly difficult. (Kudos to the Amazon Q&A for this cartridge which said it cured this issue, which, indeed it did.)
Second, I got to this cartridge through the Hansgrohe spare parts web site, although I must say it is a bit difficult to navigate and be assured this cartridge will fit an old fixture. It would seem, however, that this cartridge is a somewhat universal one which fits MANY Hansgrohe products.
Third, the installation. Have attached a picture of what my faucet looks like for reference. It took me, probably, a half hour to install. It should have taken under 10 minutes. The directions are like Ikea directions. Pictures, no words. Except the pictures are only marginally helpful.
1) With the handle straight up (like is shown in the picture) mine had a small rubber plug in the base right next to the handle. Pull it out. If it falls in, not to worry as it can be retrieved as soon as the handle is off.
