Gaiane Karapetian: My pfister kitchen faucet was leaking, I was sure that the reason is in the cartridge. I found in manual the model, fortunately Amazon was selling it. I bought the cartridge and replace the old one myself. It works very well.

Geoffrey: I had a leaky faucet that was creating a puddle on my counter... and of course it was just before a two week vacation. I managed to YouTube what could be the problem, then used Google Lens to figure out what the part was. My local big-box home store needed a week to get the part, Amazon was able to overnight me the part. Meaning I could repair the faucet before my vacation!
Go Amazon, and your fast shipping!! The product was a perfect fit and resolved my problem, with a super easy install.
5 out of 5 stars for the product, availability, and super fast shipping!

Amazon user: I'm an avid diy'er, and this is my first time ever replacing this style cartridge in a kitchen sink. I'm embarrassed to admit the mistakes I made, but I'm hoping this will help someone.
What not to do.
1. Turn off hot and cold water supply. Turn on faucet to purge lines, and make sure water really is off.
2. Loosen set screw, remove handle. (Removal of set screw not necessary)
3. Remove silver dome thing.
4. Remove brass retaining ring thing.
5. Remove old cartridge.
6. Where old cartridge was, it's filled halfway with water. Ahh, you'll be fine! Brass ring will push cartridge down. Stick old cartridge in, reinstall retaining rings, put handle on and test water. Works perfect, job well done, pat self on back. Turn off water. Wait 5 seconds.......Water spraying everywhere from handle, mess ensues on top of, and in cabinet under faucet. Defective part??? It is plastic after all! What the heck happened?
Ok, here's where I went wrong.
- After removing your old cartridge, soak up the residual water that's in the hole with paper towels or something.
- Next, make sure the gasket from your old cartridge didn't stick to the faucet body, like mine did....

Cam: Just like the original unit. Just different color plastic.
Note: it doesn't come with the screw stud that the handle connects to - remove by unscrewing from the original & screw into the new one. The handle didn't fit smoothly onto the new cartridge, I had to push it a bit, probably due to the new one being microscopically larger, this is normal with manufacturing plastic parts though!
Make sure that ALL debris & any dirt build up, if any, is cleaned out of the brass port before putting the new one in. If there is anything there, it will either tear the silicone gasket or cause it to wear out & leak quicker.
I would advise rubbing a thin film of petroleum jelly to the silicone seal on the bottom before installing it so that it moves smoothly and seals good.
Make sure that the nut holding the cartridge in place is tight enough, but not too tight. Test with water on for a while to look for leaks or seepage before putting the trim nut & handle on. Mine leaked just a bit, requiring me to take it apart again to tighten just a bit more.
FYI, there are very fine debris screens located "inside" the "ends" below, where the water hoses connect to the faucet...
