Somehow we misplaced our year-old dog collar (lotsa camping trips) and I took the opportunity to get her a nice leather one.
I knew what I could get for 50 or 60 bucks but I took a chance on this one for under 20 and am delighted with it. Nice leather, nice hardware. I mean, it’s a dog collar but still, supple leather is worth mentioning.
It will take time to know how it holds up but it certainly looks like it should work great and for a long time.

This dog collar is well made comfortable for our dog, easy to use and most importantly, lasted almost 6 years (!) of constant rough use by a very energetic dog before the latch mechanism gave way. Buying another one right away.

I have an all white husky, so durability is a must. This collar has so far withstood the training sessions where he’s pulling with all his might. However, like others have stated, it leaves his neck pink and I have to clean the ring off his neck as soon as training ends. Today I decided to use his other collar for training and try to wash this one out with hot water and leather cleaner. The photo is the 4th time I’ve washed it and it’s still a bunch more dye in there. 4 stars because It’s strong, but lost one cause the dye rendered it useless to me.

It was a great looking collar but the buckle never worked well (always felt stuck) and then it broke after 8 months. Certainly not worth the price.

The Suede is a great look on our dog.. and we are happy with the weight and softness etc.. do be aware that the Suede can get dirty fast though if your dog is rolling in dirt.. and also the colour comes off over time on the dogs fur.

Completely disappointed. I love the look of the collar but after a month of daily use, the collar broke at the stitching while my 5 month old lab puppy was wearing it. Thankfully it happened while in our backyard. Not worth the price at all.

I have noticed people saying the buckle is not secure or does not latch, So far this collar has not came apart. I originally got this collar for one of my dogs, instead I gave it to my mother who just got a puppy. I thought it looked so cute on her dog, "Oscar". She did not seem to mind it on his neck. It did not seem to heavy nor did it irritate his neck. When my my took him out for a walk the collar seemed to stay on, even when he was pulling. I picked the small and brown collar, Oscar is a black and brown dachshund, I thought he looked so cute in this genuine leather brown collar. So far, My mother has not had an trouble with the buckle not latching.
