Debbie: I use this mostly for single use. I love the fact that I can use my coffee and that the coffee is hot. The extra k cups are so cost effective. When I need the carafe, it’s there and it also makes a good cup of coffee.

Orangeslice72: works great, been using it for a few months. I run Vinegar mix through it the first time, don't mess around with just water... The design of the cafe is terrible, the pour sprout has a bar across before it, if you pour to quick it will come out the sides of the pour spout, totally do not need that piece , coffee sits on the pour spout after pouring along with both sides of the pour spout on the steps of each side of the pour spout.. The lid has creases at the hinge that is hard to clean... Now i will mention i bought the white one... I suppose i can buy another cafe once the stains get so bad... Hope they change the design of that nonsense.. Great working pot though, both sides, the one cup is fine, no issues

Nancy T. Figueroa: I am an avid coffee machine purchaser. I thought I would buy vintage makers, perculators, I have been through the gambit of machines and stove top brewers BUT this is a game changer. I like my coffee hot and some expensive machines did not brew hot coffee so I knew this was a definite must for this coffee maker, and it past the test. The fact that you can brew a pot with a filter or use the pods with a pod adapter so you have a back up if you ran of pods to fill it and brew a single cup was especially a plus. This coffee maker really was a worthwhile purchase. Just note to look at the prices outside of Amazon to make sure you get a good deal with the price because the price I paid was higher here than in other stores.

Carol olson: I have had several automatic coffee pots over the years. Usually bought Keurigs. After my last Keurig became faulty, I decided to go with another brand. My daughter had this Hamilton Beach Duo maker and loved it. They have had it for about 4 years with no problems with it at all and loved the good rich flavor of the coffee it made so I thought, “ Why not?” I ordered mine about 2 months ago in white. It’s not only pretty and matches my country kitchen, it also does everything it’s supposed to do . The coffee is so good and much hotter than my Keurig. I live alone so I use my single brew every morning. I’ve used the pods and I’ve also used fresh coffee in the special little one cup per basket and it’s delish. I’m not at all good with buttons, timers, etc..but even I can operate this coffee maker blind folded !! It’s so easy. I’ve only made a full pot a few times when I’ve had company, but how handy is that?! Same maker, just fill your larger water well and use the amount of coffee you need for a full pot or how ever many cups you want and “ Voila” , you’re ready to serve your guests !! I know I sound like an advertisement but I’m so happy with this...

Joden: Only issue is that it's hard to find reusable coffee pods to fit it. It also has a post drip so I have to constantly clean the exterior but otherwise it's working out fine.
I will update if anything goes wrong.

Wendy Bouthot: Bought this coffee maker a couple of months ago and we use it as least two times a day and it works perfectly. The single use side is a little messy using grounds, but is better with the #1 filters. Makes great coffee, always hot for both the pot and single serve. You can also use the Keurig k-cups and the coffee is just as good as the Keurig machine. Takes some counter space, but also does the work of a regular coffee maker and a single serve brewer, so actually saves space if you have both.

Amazon Customer: Nice machine. The coffee comes out HOT however the single brewing does take a little longer than your regular Keurig machine. Also it doesn't accept reusable pods however the machine does come with one you can refill.
For decoration purposes, the white color is a very cold white, something to consider.

RobinRobin: Works awesome. Heats up to almost boiling! But takes a good 2 min to get one single cup. Once you’re used to not having it instantly, you appreciate the fact that the time it takes is to give you really hot coffee and a nice strong brew. Not a weak lukewarm tassimo version.

pinkflamingo: Love the dual use feature. K-cups fit for single use but the seal will break open when you close the lid and coffee goes everywhere. The curve of the top of the pod causes this. I use a pin to poke a hole in the top of the pod before starting the brewing. Then it works fine. Thank you to Youtube for this fix.
