I bought another brand last Christmas and because it was so difficult to use I was no longer using it. They had made it too "smart." I reallly like that I can easily turn this one on and off and manually release the pressure. I've always had a 6 qt. uit but got an 8 qt. this time. I really like having the extra room to make more soup and put in a large pork roast, for example, with plenty of room.

It was delievered today & I was excited to test it out so I made lentil soup & the pressure cooker was pretty easy to figure out. Will try slow cooking it out tonight. Read about flimsy top it seems fine not as sturdy if you lift it up but during cooking it’s 100% sturdy & secure. I had a 5 year warranty sticker on it when I removed it I noticed a dent or else I would give it 5 stars.

En mi experiencia Hamilton beach dura mucho, espero no tener problemas en un futuro cercano. El empaque venía golpeado y por tanto no se si le pueda afectar al funcionamiento de la olla eléctrica.
Usualmente Amazon pone una caja de cartón con su marca, para cuidar el producto enviado. Esta vez no fue así y me extraña porque la política de devoluciones aplica al 100%, si se entregar el empaque original en perfecto estado.
