guy in OKCguy in OKC: This mirror provides a reasonably useful view of the road and traffic behind me, seems to be designed and constructed well, and looks good on my bike. I had to use the provided shim, and installed it below my mtb handlebar because in the position above the bar, my forearm would have blocked the view behind me. The installation was a bit tedious, holding the pieces together while inserting the screw from underneath due to the upside down position. I dropped the mirror once on a concrete surface, so I can attest to the relative strength of the glass, which didn't crack or shatter. It took a lot of turns of the bolt to tighten it adequately, and I was concerned about cracking the plastic, but didn't have any problems. I might give this a 4.5 star rating, because it really does check a lot of boxes. I think it would need to have a larger mirror and a slightly longer arm to merit five stars. But it seems to be a good product at a good price.
