Robyn W.: Super cute fun book for boys…kind of a book that informs them on all kinds of situations and what to do. My son is not a reader, but did enjoy reading this book.

Shaprl1: It was a birthday gift for my grandson who loves to read He turned 11 years old. He sat down and started reading that very minute he got it. Very well made book. Very interesting for a boy that age. Funny parts and other parts of the book very interesting with subjects of teaching methods to do things on his own.

Boris:
My older son LOVED this book- here are his exact words when asked Q: What did you like about the book?
"it had very good terminology and was written well. It had pictures, diagrams, and funny parts as well as informative parts that taught you how to do stuff. (like how to tie knots, how to build shelters, survive zombie attacks and almost the whole book was about surviving outdoors. I definitely think this is one of the top 5 books I'd have in my treehouse bookshelf, or tent if I was camping!"
There was nothing he didn't like about the book .
That pretty much sums it up- from a kid's perspective

Luna L.:
The book itself is great, with tips on surviving anything from tornadoes to the zombie apocalypse...title on hardcover done in nice gold-embossed lettering.
Note to seller: most of the time these types of books are gifts. Easy-peel barcodes with the prices on it would be super appreciated, as the sticker on the back of this book was determined not to be removed, and ended up tearing off a piece of the yellow hardcover...Also left behind sticky residue. Not well done :(

Charlie Younghusband: My son has always been into survival skills. He loves this book and finds it both funny and interesting. He is 9 years old but has been schooled only in french until this year and he can read most of it fine.

Amazon Customer: got this for my 8 year old son. He loves it. he even took it to show and tell. There are all kinds of crazy things inside, a lot of them are just silly, like how to survive an alien attack or what to do when you forgot your homework, but there are also some cool and practical things in there too. Don't buy this thinking it is going to teach your son how to survive in the wilderness, its not that kind of book. But its something I think most boys would have fun reading.

JAMG: I bought 9 of these as a party gift for 10 to 11 year olds and they were all delighted with it including the 22 year old cub leader who ran the party. it's a mixture of practical and funny tips including how to make a sling, a rope ladder, carry an injured mate and how to survive the school disco, survive family Christmas and survive an essay crisis. So some really useful tips are contained within this book and given in a very straightforward way but with a bit of fun thrown in. To be honest, anything which gets boys reading has to get 5 stars.
