Amazon Customer: As expected. I have a beagle that can fit in very tight space and went between the window and the fence. I had to make some Tetris to make it work, but overall good product.

Catherine: Not easy to adhere to rear of any vehicle. Shakes and rattles.

MartyZ:
Installing this pet barrier in my VW SUV was accomplished with some aggravation. The instructions and assembly were straight forward (except) for the 6 wing nuts that tighten the parts together. The Wings on the wingnuts are just a little to big and prevent turning to tighten the 6 clamps. Tried using pliers with a little success. It was still a little loose for my comfort so went to Lowes and bought 6 M5 hex nuts and used a ratchet to finish the job.
Recommend deleting the wingnuts and adding the hex nuts or better yet make an adjustment to the molded clamps so wingnuts will turn without hitting the side.

Buena compra

Kathy Longanecker: Received the order in 3 days. Exactly what I needed to keep my German Shepherd and Blue Heeler in the back! Took 45 minutes to install! I have a new Ford Escape and put it behind the front seats. Fits fine there as long as you don't need the front seats all the way back. Back seats are folded down flat, but the floor board in front of the back seats will only let you sit it in a certain place. I used pool noodles cut long ways and fit over the top to protect the roof of the car, and zip ties to hold it together a little better. Also zip tied it to the head rest poles to keep it from falling back. Well worth the money!

keithman: Maybe it's just my car (Nissan Murano) and the material used for the ceiling, but this did not stay in place no matter how tight I had it. My 80 pound dog could easily knock it out of place just by moving around. It did not work for my vehicle.

Amazon Customer: It definitely serves its purpose and more. Our German Shepherd is very comfortable in the rear of our vehicle; curls up and goes for a sleep most of the time. We forget the dog is back there. The barrier would also stop any rear cargo from flying forward in an emergency stop on the highway.

11of11: This barrier works fine once you have it up, but it's a pain to install. The hardware is cheap and the wingnuts kept hitting the bars as I tightened them. It took forever to get it up in my car. It does its job and my dog never messes with it so I'm not too unhappy with it. I wish I had bought the Advantek barrier before it went up in price. Overall not a bad grate for your car.

Leigh Miller: I purchased this for my German Shepherd puppy. I figured if I got it now while she's small and she gets used to being kept in her place, it'll work when she's huge. She is now 40 pounds and has made no attempt to get through it. She accepts that this is her spot. Anyone who has had a German Shepherd knows that they can get anywhere they want. I believe, if inclined, they could escape San Quentin, so the idea was to train her with it as a pup. So far, so good. The barrier is sturdy, easy to install (mine's in a Honda Odyssey), and extremely functional.

Nikki: My 100-lb dog jumped through this and broke the plastic pieces that keep the horizontal bars in place. I was so angry, especially for the expense. She laid on my cat’s soft-sided carrier, scratched my kids, scattered pumpkin seed snacks all over my car, and spilled a pop all over the seats and floor. It’s trash now and I’m out of so much money for nothing.
