Tom S.: I like that you get a reading of the pressure you have in a tire and then dial it up to the pressure you want and then turn it on and it does the rest. Nice and quiet and quick. Glad I bought it.

JustAnOpinion:
If you're using the outlet in the car you're not using both cylinders in the compressor. You can buy an AC to DC converter and a DC extension cable and run it at the maximum liters per minute, or simply plug it up to the positive and negative of your vehicle and make sure the vehicle is running before turning on the compressor.
It takes roughly 2-1/2 minutes to air up a tire on a BMW X3 SUV from 10 psi to 35 psi (verified by a calibrated gauge). If you only plug it into the socket in the interior, any air compressor is going to take dramatically longer to air up.
Get a good gauge that you know is properly calibrated, not just any gauge, and check to see how many psi "off" the compressor reads. My air compressor reads 3 psi higher than it actually is. So I set it 3-4 psi above what I need. At 4 psi over the pressure I'm going for, it's spot on 1 psi above what I need (every time so far). So if you know exactly how many psi your compressor is "off" by, you can know exactly where it needs to be set each time to hit the desired psi.
Why this model and not a bigger, more expensive model? Well, the more expensive models use so much juice that there...

create15: I use this as an emergency tire filling pump. So far, it works reasonably well. The inflation hose screws on, rather than using a standard air fitting. Was worried about that at first, but the pump overshoots the set pressure by enough that whatever air loss occurs whilst unscrewing still leaves one with enough air pressure to bleed down to the proper setting (even on low volume bike tyres). Inflation times are reasonable with high volume passenger tyres. One definitely needs a good air pressure gauge because of the over-shoot. Comes with a nice extension hose and the power cord is of sufficient length to be useful without needing the extension in most cases. Having said that, the operator's manual is clearly written by someone whose English is a second language (I can't complain, their English is far better than my Chinese)--it's almost comical to read and requires a reasonably good imagination to figure out what they are trying to say. I've seen worse, though... Overall, I like this product. Comes in a nice case that contains everything (one could put a pressure gauge in it as well--there's enough room). It is a good value for the money and is...

Tim:
At first I thought something was missing. There was no air chuck? I finally realized you just screw the air hose into the tire valve. So simple and easy.
I have a new Jeep Wrangler, 2 door. I let some air out of the spare on the back and clipped the battery cables onto the battery which is easily accessed on the Jeep. Started the Jeep and set the units and pressure I wanted and nothing happened. The compressor didn’t come on. Then I realized the power switch at the bottom of the unit was off. Turned it on and it started filling my tire from 35 to 40 psi in less than a minute. Of course at lower pressures it will go much faster. The whole process is simple and easy. I am very happy.
I wanted to test it before I actually needed it. Now I am confident. Will make it easy to air down and back up for off road to on road riding and to just check tire pressure for maintenance.
They say don’t try to just use the cigarette lighter outlet, clip directly to the battery and run the engine. The aux outlet is fused at 20 amps, the compressor runs at 25 amps and may blow the fuse. Follow directions and stay out of trouble.
Also, for us half-blind seniors, the...
