Jeff: Can only be used in a drill press with material securely clamped down. Welds on teeth are fragile and easy to break off. Won't last one hole if used with a handheld drill motor.

Seavan: Used it to drill holes in 1/8th aluminum with my cheap drill press. It will drill very nice clean holes. Stop and clean the bit often. Make sure that the bit is absolutely clean at very end to have a nice and clean cut. Use some oil or special cutting fluid. The exit side is cleaner.

This bit is an excellent value comparing to the price of Milwaukee bit.

J. Fernald: I bought this tool for use in installing a trailer hitch on a 2011 Subaru Outback. I had to cut two 1-1/8" holes in the frame to fish the bolts through. It cut through the frame like butter. I did a before and after inspection and it appears not to have experienced any wear whatsoever. There are a lot of other 1-1/8" hole cutters out there, but this one is rated for steel and it means it. Nice tool.
