Nurfarwizah AhmadNurfarwizah Ahmad: Shipped from USA to Singapore, took about 2 weeks to arrive. Unfortunately most of it came dented, i wish they’d have added more protective layers for fragile items. Nonetheless, received in correct quantities and flavour. Have yet to try, i hope my cats will like them.

D Hunter: I'm about ready to throw my vet out a window, but that's a whole other story. My cat Kojo was diagnosed with IBD, and my hunch has always been that he has grain allergies. The years of a watery nose and excessive grooming all led up to him refusing to eat, vomiting clear reflux stomach acid every 12 hours, not acting like himself, and laying around in pain. The vet put him on Mirtazapine as an appetite stimulant and Cerenia for nausea and vomiting. And she also put him on Hill's z/d food. I have to say that it's no surprise that Kojo wouldn't eat that crap if he wasn't spun up on the Mirtazapine. It looks like brown jello and obviously has no taste at all. The Mirtazapine has scary side effects, making him very aggressive and restless, unable to sleep. The Cerenia has been fantastic with no side effects. My vet has been a frustration because she insists I somehow have to get him to eat the z/d and didn't even want to discuss alternatives such as grain-free food or homeopathic treatments.

As time went on, it got harder and harder to coax him into eating the z/d, so I started researching. First I went after the GI tract problems and I found some homeopathic products you can...

Sneaky Burrito: I have a cat with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). His case is mild, and the only symptom was unexplained weight loss. After extensive (and expensive!) testing, we got the IBD diagnosis. Cats with this condition are notoriously picky, difficult to get to eat, etc. Vets will often recommend that cats with IBD have only wet food with no grain, and I've been told to keep this cat off chicken, turkey, beef, fish, and pork, as well, in case one of those aggravates his condition.

He was eating a prescription duck food for awhile, but started refusing it. I was running out of cat foods to try and had been holding out on getting the Instinct because of the price. (For what it's worth, Amazon has the best price I've been able to find on this product, and I've done a lot of shopping around.)

I finally gave in and decided to try the lamb formula because it did not have any other proteins in it (the venison and rabbit contain pork liver and the duck contains turkey liver).

Well, my cat (Mr. Kitty) loves the Instinct lamb. This is a high-calorie food -- about 260 calories per 5.5 ounce can. Mr. Kitty gets one and a half cans a day, or about 390 calories. Please be...
