Miss M: I bought this for my older cat who’s suffering from IBD. Irritable bowel disease. He is allergic to chicken and most cat food we raise them on. I thought this was all lamb. Unfortunately it’s got chicken broth in it so it triggers his illness. My other cats stuffed it down no issues. They love it. My sick baby loves it too he can’t have it. If your looking for my reason look else where. You will have to read many labels to find pure food.
This is a good product. It’s a bit to pricey. All of the food that has lamb, rabbit or off typical food is very high.

Always on a Budget: I've been trying to find better food choices for our three remaining cats since the eldest (17 years old) died the end of July. He had been diagnosed with diabetes in early July and went on expensive insulin & diet change but he never got better; he got worse. Our vet thinks he may have also had cancer. I didn't want him to suffer any more. He, and our other cats, had been eating Purina One Sensitive Systems (dry) and Friskies pate canned foods.
Since then, I've been frantically trying to find better ingredients in cat foods and have tried several different brands that our cats won't eat (Nature's Balance, Nutro, Halo, Dr Elsey's, Purina Vet DM, Wellness Core, Instinct Ultimate, Blue Buffalo Wilderness). They were iffy with Wellness Core & Instinct Ultimate canned so I'm going to revisit those two, but trying Instinct Grain Free Original instead of the Ultimate....that's arriving tomorrow.

Kasia S.: Spot's Stew is a great brand of nourishing holistic cat care; food which is well made and prepared from pure and organic sources. I've had many cats through my thirty two years and this stuff is top of the best out there, pets will cost you time and money so might as well give them the best you can afford. I can see the difference in my pets ( Shaggy 4, Emily 6, Desmond 7) when I feed them foods such as Spot's Stew or Weruva versus Friskies which are much more processed and look like what you imagine it looks like, don't get me wrong when in a pinch I will get other brands but if I can I get this stuff I feel that I feed my animals food and not "cat food" as the scent is natural and more succulent. With the Salmon recipe my cats enjoy the soft and velvety quality of the pate with sauce and green veggies mixed in, even my pickiest eaters eat most of the vegetables most of the time.

BG: For an all-natural cat food, this seems very processed. That said, my cat LOVED it. I will keep it in my cupboard for those odd occasions when I run out of the tiki cat food.
