Anna W: We purchased these thinking they are good quality and, though expensive, would be good for our cats. Out of 4 cats, 3 refused to eat this. I then gave some of the cans to my son for his cat and he wouldn't eat it either. Clearly, there's something about this that cat's don't like. The one that did eat it is our resident "piglet" that eats anything, so that doesn't say much for this pricey food. Would never buy or recommend. Not stuck with several cases after having bought on subscription. 😔

Alexis: Great food, moist, my picky cat likes it. However, they advertise it as food for "mature cats" and the cans I received are only for "adult cats" though other than that the label is the same as the picture. I don't know if Blue changed the label at some point and they don't do this food in a mature range anymore.

Patricia Parker: I love this product for my cats. They love the food. I was disappointed by the lack of padding in the box it was shipped in. 2 of the cans were severely damaged and popped open, leaking cat food in the flat. I had to throw those cans away. At an average price of $1.59 a can, I am disappointed that they could not have arrived better packaged. I have had better service from Amazon in the past.

Faith Moull: The 5.5oz cans are the only cans I will buy, we free feed kibble to our two adult females and they get 1/4 can of wet food per day. This wet food is so soft, and so moist. Our cats LOVED it! It doesn’t stink like processed meats unlike Friskies or Iams and they licked their bowls clean within 5 minutes. The price is a little more pricey compared to 40 cans of Friskies for only $25 but if you love your fur babies then it’s well worth it, 24 cans should last 48 days in this house. I highly recommend the Blue Buffalo wet cat food not only because it’s high in protein and has a healthy ingredient list, but the kibble our cats are a fan of aswell.

Hence the 5 stars.
It's a bit pricier than cheapo food but here's the thing, we don't have kids, we have a cat...we don't shy away from getting her pricier high quality cat food and she doesn't care about our singing skills (or lack of), tapping away at the computer (when we could be petting her), constant coffee grinder noises or yoga in the middle of the living room floor...(I suspect that's solid entertainment for her)
Anyways she is 17 years old..gah..I know...don't get me started...
We transitioned her to wet food years ago so she enjoys her meals..though at times she will get a wild hair and turn her nose up at the same food she's had for ages and we switch around to a different ones, this one is in permanent rotation here...hey, she's 17 which is ancient in people years and I suspect she has a touch of dementia as she forgets where her food is and acts hungry but if I place her right in front of her FULL feed dish she acts like 'WOW OH WOW FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD" So she can be a bit choosy if she wants :)
