Amazon Customer: I love this car seat! Great price for the quality. Similarly priced items are from much cheaper brands and the quality really does show. The car seat I received had a manufacture date of 2021 and I’m totally fine with that. I think it’s definitely worth the price and by the time the car seat expires my son would have most likely outgrown the chair anyways.

I am a die-hard Britax fan. I have the GIGANTIC Britax  Britax USA Advocate ClickTight Convertible Car Seat, Circa  installed in the middle seat of our 2015 Nissan Altima. It's a good thing we're not too tall because it pushes against both the passenger and driver's seat. And also, that we have just one kid.

Because of a disability, I don't drive and I live in Los Angeles so my toddler son and I have spent a lot of time in taxis to and fro. The  Cosco Scenera NEXT Convertible Car Seat  fit our needs perfectly but he's going to outgrow it mostly likely before he reaches his second birthday (he's 21 months now). I asked my favorite CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician), Ilana Blitzstein of WestLACarseats, for something that would work for my needs since she'd helped me install my infant seat  UPPAbaby MESA Infant Car Seat, Jake (Black) , pick out the Britax and the Cosco Scenera.

Erin: We have only been using this seat for a couple months, but so far it has been great. My husband had no trouble installing it, and it feels much more secure than our infant carrier seat did. My son was about 6 months old when we started using this seat. He could still fit safely in his carrier seat, but we rarely used the carrier feature because it was too heavy and he seemed like he was getting too big to be comfortable in it. Since we have transitioned to the Contender, the only time he has cried in his car seat has been when he was tired.

The features I enjoy are:

-Compact size (for a convertible seat): We had no trouble fitting this seat behind the driver's seat of my 2005 Chevy Cobalt. I am 5'7" and my husband is 5'9" so we don't have to put the driver's seat extremely far back, but it may be able to go back farther (I haven't tried adjusting it).

-Ease of use: I have absolutely no problem unbuckling the chest clip on this seat. I think Graco may have changed it due to the previous complaints. It is very easy to get my son in and out of this seat.
