Pitogo: I moved from a single shoulder range bag to this backpack and it’s awesome. Plenty of storage and pockets to store everything you need for the range. The waist strap is unnecessary for the short walk from the parking lot to the range but could be useful if you are carrying this bag for long trips.

Peter: This bag is great, versatile, tough, and carries almost all of my gear. I much prefer a backpack style range bag to duffle/gym bag type range bag. The only reason I give it 4 stars overall is that 3 pistols don't really fit. Maybe if you have smaller pistols you can get all three sleeves to fit in the compartment at the same time. To be clear, the three sleeves fit fine when empty. I can only fit 2 with any combition of my pistols. In all fairness, I carry full size handguns, not compacts. Someone carrying smaller guns should be able to fit all three. Other than that I very happy with the bag and would recommend it.

Chairman of the board: There are three gun cases with the backpack and fits perfectly EMPTY. Once you've loaded the pistols with 4 mags individually with a trigger guard, only 2 can fit. The waist belt should be an option or removable since I personally won't be using/needing it.
Otherwise, it's great range backpack, lots of storage space for all you range stuff. I'm returning it and order the Handgunner backpack instead.

pic's: Sac OK, intérieur en "dur" pour éviter qu'il s'écrase sur lui même une fois les pochettes pour les armes de poing retiré. Très bien pensé, multiples poches... Manque une demi étoile pour le prix (du à la provenance je pense) et une autre demi pour la fermeture côte pochette armes de poing un peu capricieuse (rate un maillon de temps en temps)... Mais vraiment top

MrPog: Absolutely the best range bag out there. The bag is well laid out and has ample room for all the key bits of gear you'll need for a day at the range. I also like that it frees my hands to carry a rifle case, target stands or other gear. Although it comes with three pistol sleeves, I usually run with one pistol sleeve which leaves the perfect amount of space for a small Plano plastic ammo box. Furthermore, the molle slots allow me to attach my range FAK (first aid kit) and water bottle holder (or any other take specific kit you have). Buy this bag!

Amazon Customer: Overall a pretty good range bag. The pistol compartment is on the small size. You have to use cable locks as the trigger locks are too fat. I like the backpack style as it leaves it easier to carry rifles. The bag has lots of compartments to organize your gear. It would be nice if there was a large compartment for an 8x10 range book.

wonko: This is a wonderfully designed range bag. I've owned several different styles of range bags over the years and most of them are just big, empty spaces or have a ton of pockets, some of which are obviously meant for magazines and others which don't seem to be made for anything useful.

I checked out several different bags at a local store and the GPS bags stood out in every way. When I saw the visual ID system, I originally thought it seemed silly to tell the user where to put stuff. I mean, who needs hand-holding? Well, after a few seconds of giving it some thought, I realized that's *exactly* what I need.

My other bag is very large and has one huge internal compartment which can be divided into smaller compartments with a couple of walls that attach to Velcro strips on the inside walls of the bag. Regardless of how I tried to organize my gear and firearms, it always ended up a jumbled mess.

The Visual ID system solves that problem. I know what each pocket is meant for and can fill it appropriately. Believe it or not, that type of organizational system has helped me cut down on the amount of junk I take to the range, almost all of which I rarely, if ever,...

Ivrit: My local shooting range listed this range bag as a "must get", so I became curious and found it on Amazon. When I read a review that this range backpack was being used while shooting at handgun competitions, I became even more curious because I am getting involved with the IDPA. After reading the Amazon reviews and visiting the G.P.S. website goutdoorsproduct to find more pictures, I discovered that while their website does not show pictures of all the compartments, it does give the potential customer a better descriptive idea of what to expect in terms of material construction and versatility.

Their website indicates that this range backpack is made from "1000 Denier H.D. material with Dupont teflon coating" (I assume that "H.D." means "high density"), and is triple-stitched with nylon that is both "mildew and rot resistant." Several very good plusses.

Very useful is their use of visual identification tags to help with the issue of conveniently organizing all the necessary items that a shooter needs on the range. Of course, there's never enough room or compartments to put everything that could be taken to the range, but given the size constraints of a backpack they...
