Haley: I decided to hunt this down after seeing that my favorite large family mama on YouTube, Jammerill Stewart was using it.
My instant pot broke, so it was perfect timing.

I just used it for the first time today.
So far, I've made loaded chicken and potato soup with just over 3lbs of potatoes and an entire family pack of chicken breasts.
It was only about half full with that and it turned out perfect.
I've also cooked two Boston Butts in it at once which also turned out wonderful.

This thing is massive which is perfect for our family of 9. We often have company and it's such a relief being able to throw so much in at once.

It is versatile and easy to use and clean.
It pressurizes quicker than my 4qt instant pot did.
It comes with an easy to read guide, booklet, and cookbook!

My only complaint is that it's a bit of a learning curve putting the lid on for me.
It doesn't turn and click on quite as smoothly, but that's no biggy to me and it's totally manageable.
Also, the controls are a bit different the the instant pot, obviously but I actually think I like them better this way.

E. BoyerE. Boyer: I'm in love with my BigA**Cooka. I have had this for 3 months now and I've used it 20 or 30 times. I wanted the big one so I could experiment with canning, but it's come in so handy for big soups and stews, chili, bone broth, and pho,too. I've only had it error on me once (E3) when I pushed too many buttons on accident. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and it took right off again without a hitch. You do have to fiddle with the pressure valve sometimes to get it to seat and once or twice I've had to remove the silicon lid ring and reinstall because it was leaking steam out the side, but I figure these are maintenance and a small price to pay for the convenience. I have yet to try making jelly but I will and revise my review when I do.

Don't let all the buttons intimidate you. Pick something and experiment with it. My first meal in this was a 3lb frozen pot roast. We were eating it in 1:35:00 and it was the best roast I'd ever had. Flavors stayed locked in the food instead of dissipating. Looking forward to corned beef and cabbage in a couple of weeks. DSHDSH: Excellent pressure cooker. Easy to use. It is clear that this pressure cooker is very well made and I love the fact that it has a stainless steel inner pot and not non-stick Teflon. At this introductory pricing, one can buy 2 and still have money left over vs buying the most popular brand here on Amazon. Most pleased.

Update 5-16-2015

After using this pressure cooker at least 3 times a week, it still performs beautifully. I especially like the egg function. 3 min on the high setting makes hard-boiled eggs with the yellowest yolk and set-but-still-tender egg white. No dark sulfur rings at all and best of all, it is so easy to make. I have also used the pot-in-pot technique to make dishes directly in the serving dishes (basically using the pressure cooker as a high-pressure steamer) for stews and oatmeal and they came out perfect as well. This method allows me to cook different dishes consecutively and cuts down on the dishes to wash. :)

One great thing about this electric pressure cooker is that is is absolutely quiet when cooking and emits basically no vapor so your house is not filled with the smell of whatever you're cooking. Can't say...
