i just don't like apps that "call home" unless there is a real need to.
*** MOST Chinese electronics that connect to the internet or require apps ** SPY on you ** .
at least your constant location. Even WORSE are ALL their cameras + security systems.
a lot steal your routers passwords ,
and test everything you have for security breaches, they can use this info for attacks later in life. ***

Easy to read - only with light - not back lit
Bluetooth connectivity - ok so far, but i keep it in the thermal box that my computer resides in +
connect to a older cell phone , both with in 2 feet of each other.
This phone has NO service and was only connected to the internet for initial set-up .

will update later in life, smile someone in china sees you every day...

Amazon Customer: The price for this unit is very affordable. I really like the simple readout and the look of the device. You can hand calibrate it if you need to, using the Govee app. Where it fails are some of its more advanced features. Through the Govee app it is possible to view humidity, temp, dew point and VPD in min max and avg readings throughout day hour month year, etc. and you can export this information. Awesome features to have if you are growing anything or preserving anything, but especially for indoor gardeners. Its biggest problem is that the device only collects and downloads information to your phone when it is within Bluetooth range of the phone. This means I have to be close enough to my seedlings to be able to tell on my own if they are chilly because I can feel the air myself. The app has alarms you can set that allow for your phone to receive alerts when the range is exceeded, example a temp between 60 and 80 F is okay, but outside of that range, it pushes an alert to your phone. Cool stuff! …If I could use it while I was actually out of range of the area myself. Also the app has pop up adds and is extremely difficult for me to read, especially in its night mode screen,...

Dolly Webber: I use a fifth wheel during winter months, and although my RV is set up with the "arctic package", when temperatures get below freezing, I need to know what the temperature status of the water areas of the RV. I don't need to run the furnace at night unless the water areas are too close to freezing. I have one of these in the BR, the coach, behind the skirt under the RV, and in the pass-through area where the water lines are. There is an easy to use Govee app for my phone, and I can check the temperatures any time of the day or night without going outside, crawling under the RV, or opening the pass-through hatch from inside the coach to see what the temperature is. This takes so much of the pressure off of winter RV'ing, as I can decide whether to run the furnace more, or plug in the lamp/lightbulb behind the RV skirt.

These are well worth their value especially with the great price for which I bought them. Very glad and very thankful to have these!

Mai: Works perfectly and the trending / logging function was extremely useful. I was able to use it to log the temp and humidity of my room and adjust the aircon settings to reduce the humidity to a more comfortable level.

Rachel: Used this on the shaded portion of an outdoor balcony to hell gauge temperature and humidity for more sensitive plants in my collection. Temperature and humidity seem accurate and the app has been working seamlessly without issues. The hygrometer itself is small and fairly slim and easy to slot between pots. It’s a bit lightweight so I would be a bit cautious about wind but if you secure it to the wall it should be fine. No complaints!
