2-Pack ThermoPro TP53 Digital Indoor Hygrometer Thermometer for Home Use

john f: I purchased the two pack of the ThermoPro TP53. After reading instruction and inserting batteries in both they quickly gave me readings. I waited about 5 minutes to see how close they were in Temperature and Humidity levels. The temp readings were within 1 to 2 tenths so very close. Humidity levels were not so close as one read 45% and the other 50%. Mmmm, so I looked to see if there was a way to calibrate but had no luck with that. So I pulled the batteries from the one I thought was off (with the higher reading as my furnace humidifier is set to 45%). After a few minutes they were within 2 points of each other, 45 and 47%. I did notice touching or moving them slightly will also affect the Humidity readings.
One thing I did notice is it sometimes takes way longer than 10 seconds to readjust when moving to another space in the house. Not a deal breaker for me. I will continue to experiment with them in same room, basement, plant room etc. to see if they continue to read like values. For the price of these I think they are well worth it. Especially for all the info they give you. Hopefully accurate!

This tool helps me keep track of room temperature, allowing me to adjust or turn off my A/C before noticing it's too cold. Also, humidity measurements are useful and remind me to use dry mode on my A/C.

ED: The magnet feature is a great idea
Have two, and they work fine, one is a degree lower than the other sitting side by side, but what I wanted them for was humidity, so it's all good.
I would recommend them.

TJ: I really liked having one of these in the kitchen to help with baking bread, Knowing the humidity and the temperature in the kitchen. I just bought 3 more about 6 months later. The first is still running on the original batteries that came with the meter.
Now I have the three meters side by side, after looking up how to install the battery : see below for that information.

one says 73.4, two inches away says 73.8 and the third one says 74.3 , though not exact on temperature , pretty good for knowing , in Centagrade they are shoing a variation of only 4/10's . 23.4 ,23.6,23.2
However the humidity matches on all the thermometers.

I think this is excellent for the price with full energized batteries included.

to Install batteries: just below the magnet on the back and above the kick stand you will see a plastic white tab. Push it up toward the top of the unit and the battery compartment will be exposed. Real Easy.

ES: We were trying to determine the level of humidity inside our house throughout multiple rooms. This product can be hung on the wall, mounted to a magnetic surface or propped up by its own stand. This was very convenient for us to be able to rotate it through rooms. It's large display makes it easy to read even from a reasonable distance. And the 24-hour high/low readings are valuable since you can't be watching it every minute.

I can't say exactly how accurate it is as I don't have anything to really compare it to...what I can say is that it seems to mirror our thermostat fairly well. And when we made adjustments to lower the humidity level it was reflected in the humidity readings.

Do note: if you decide to mount it on the wall, you will need your own hardware for that.

Ritabrata GhoshRitabrata Ghosh: This Room Temperature and Humidity morning machine shows perfect if this put opposite side of air-conditioning machine or open place of the room, but if you hung on wall or put it on a table whis was place at the corner of the room....then Temperature vary 2 to 3 degree. But i think it is impossible to place at the millddle of the room. As it's sensor at the back side of the product....
You can see fast Humidity ups and down.
This product is made in Germany which is mentioned on the product over a printer sticker and box shows made in chaina and castomer care executive Shays that it is made in USA. That's makes me little but confusing 😕. After seeing several reverse on what's app I am also decided to purchase it.....product health and made is good..buti think will be more fabulous if 2 sensors placed at back and front both side. Other wide it catches wall Temperature.
Conclusion- will be more upgrade, more sensors placement in it as smart watches naw we seen.

Ned Powell: After accidentally ruining my old glass analogue thermometer when I left it in my solar dehydrator and it got too hot (it had a range up to ~60 °C), I was in the market for a new one. Initially I only intended to get another glass analogue one, but after some investigation, a digital one seemed like a good idea for a few reasons: most models seem to include a hygrometer (to measure humidity) and they can show you the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity in the past 24 hours. After some research, the ThermoPro TP-55 came recommended and seemed like the best option. I was about to settle on it when I noticed a similar model - the TP-53. Comparing the two, this really seemed like the better model to me, as it’s more compact because the °C/°F button and the 24hr/all time buttons are on the back of the unit rather than on the screen. This means that the TP-53 doesn’t have (and doesn’t need) a touch screen like the TP-55, and these two little-used buttons are relegated to the back of the unit where I think they belong. I mean, how often are you going to be switching between °C/°F? You’ll press it once based on what your country uses and that’s it. Similar with the...
