Chris: I got the "dog tag" version of this. The engraving/marking is clear and distinct. The metal is heavy and has remained tarnish free.

This is a "heavy" tag - our 68# dog was a bit bugged when I put it on his collar and he sort of tried to get it off. Once he got used to it things were fine. Only thing I might do is drill a hole opposite the existing one and rivet the tag to his collar (just do it's not down/dangling) but it seems like it'll be fine.

MsLA: In Cobb County, GA (where I live), the county no longer requires dogs to where a rabies tag. It's the paperwork that is the real proof and I get that. I just don't like my fur babies not having a rabies tag, just in case they escape from the back yard. I order one from Go Tags ever year after their annual exams. The tags are very good quality and will last for a year or longer. New rabies tag arrived today, the old one was still in good condition.

catherine: My cat came home the other night minus his collar and name tag. Locally, (at PetSmart), they didn't have small tags, so I bought a small dog bone tag for his new collar. It was awfully big, and the engraving didn't show up on the silver. I found this one, and the size is PERFECT, and the black engraving shows on the silver tag with no problem. It's also quite shiny, so it should reflect light as well. The price was GREAT! It came in just several days so, I couldn't be happier.

James vdPas: These are bright, well etched with inlaid black. My only complaint, a very small one, is that the attachment ring is a little on the thin side. I expect it will last a couple years; I've had some last 10 years. The seller is excellent. I had a mis-pell issue on one of two tags. I made Contact with Seller and had a response within two days and a replacement within 5 days (these times spanning a weekend). My understanding is this seller and his engraving facility is in the Northwestern US. Tags are shipped by regular postal because these fit inside a small envelope.
