misterfingers: and fixed my sneaky leak in a backyard pond/fountain.....easy to apply - use a mask for the aerosols! ..but it worked - 3 cans on a 3x6x2 deep water features - actually cheaper than the main liquid vinyl i used as a base last year...i would get this again...

KPR: Branch hit roof, poked a hole, I repaired, windstorm dislodge patch, leak returned, re-placed the the patch, the used this product as a coat of over spray (fill and cracks in my repair and hold in place), I also touched up the flashing on a suspect roof vent with the extra - leak gone, more severe winds of Fall storms, leak still gone. not having to go on roof, makes it all worth while.

I received 2 cans, used the black, added the clear to my tool box

HikerBiker: I was getting some rain leakage where my chimney flashing ends so I bought this to fix it.

It's easy to spray on but you will get it on your fingers and it is very difficult to get off. So wear gloves. Seriously. Make sure the wind won't blow it onto your new BMW.

I sprayed it all around my chimney at the top of the flashing and still had some left so I sprayed it around the edge of the individual flashings. I still had some left and it looked stupid with aluminum flashings with black edges so I sprayed it all over the flashings to make them uniformly black.

I still had more so I sprayed the last of it around a window frame that has leaked during major storms.

I was surprised how much coverage I got from one spray can. That was a couple of months ago and we finally got some heavy, prolonged rain last yesterday. NO LEAKS! Yay that was so much cheaper than having some one come out and charge me a fortune.

I'm going to restate the thing about wearing gloves. I didn't and I had to spend 15 minutes scrubbing my hands with very serious chemicals to get it off. That tells me it's durable, at least. Perhaps they should call it Tar Whiz.

Yarisbell San Pablo: I’m not sure if I just didn’t use it correctly, but I followed the instructions and used this to waterproof a small gap in a hole I made on a plastic bin and for a few months it was working fine but recently it started leaking. I may just need to add another coat. Make sure you use this outside and wearing clothes you don’t really care to get stained!
