James: Wife and I have made many of the recipes and they were all good. This book taught us how to make the best salmon we've ever eaten. I highly recommend and look forward to making all the recipes.

Rebecca: Gordon, you’ve changed my world. I’ve made the veal saltimbocca, Laotian larb, Vietnamese meatball salad and the cacio e pepe. My dishes seriously look and taste like I work in the industry (well, almost). The flavours are exquisite and easy to double or triple for hosting. Great selection of recipes from around the world. Definitely my go to and love that I can rely on this book and the dishes turn out beautifully. One exception was the saffron chicken skewers, but all else has been amazing.

Lisa Barbaro: Every recipe I have made has been a hit with my household and friends. Although I often find it takes me longer than 30 minutes to prepare these dishes, due to prep work, they are still quick. I love some of the shortcuts and techniques that produce amazing food in a short time. This book changed the way I cooked scallops and allowed me to make Moroccan chicken and couscous in a half an hour instead of the hour plus it usually takes me with similar recipes. Gordon Ramsay has made it a lot easier to get restaurant quality meals on the table quickly.
I saw other reviews that complained about cost or availability of ingredients. While I agree that not all ingredients are available at every local supermarket, there are plenty of recipes that use easy to come by ingredients. Also, you can use the internet to find less common ingredients, substitutions, or recipes for spice mixes that your supermarket might not carry. As far as cost goes, even the most expensive ingredients, cooked at home, are far less expensive than ordering at a restaurant.
