Amazon Customer: This stuff is amazing and is the only goo gone product that really works to get thick adhesive off. I first purchased the general spray bottle goo gone product; that product did little to remove adhesive. This product is amazing. For best results, put this in a spray bottle. Spray onto the adhesive (you do need a fair amount if the adhesive is thick and stubborn), let it sit, and then scrape the adhesive off. I then used a mr clean sponge to get the goo gone and any remaining residue off. This is pricey for the amount you get, and you need to put a fair amount of elbow grease in, but if you’ve got very stubborn adhesive to remove, this does the trick.

Edward B: I have a roomba vaccum and it recently ran into one of those sticky glue traps (the ones that trap bugs). The glue made the bristles a stuck mess that water could do nothing against. Three rounds later of this glue gone and the bristles looked new. The bristles don't seem to be damaged at all and the goo is all gone. I got a bit on my hands and after washing it off I had no reaction to it so it seems pretty safe as well. Highly recommend to anyone who has gotten hard to remove goo.

B: Ordered this to remove those pesky stickers that leave behind a lot of residue. The glue was quite thick and couldn't be scraped off manually. I used some and I'm guessing due to how much glue there was took a while to fully wipe off but once it started taking off a bit of it, it just sped up and cleared the whole thing up.
The only thing to know about using this is once the area is cleared of the glue, it will be quite oily if the glue was on a plastic in my case so you will need to take care of that. The what I'm assuming is some sort of oil or whatever is pretty easy to wash off so no problems there.
I would be mindful of only using a little bit of the product as just a small amount does quite a lot.

Chris: It appears to clean up residue pretty well with a moderately abrasive surface (like a rag or steel wool), but it leaves a very strong smell that even though it smells citrusy, it still is very odd and offensive, so use a fan or in a ventilated area.

Sydney Fly: I LOVE shopping at bargain stores - and even work at one! It’s great to find stuff for our house and also for gifts. However, I have no interest in the tackiness of a sticker announcing that I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for an item. Though I often am eager to share about a good bargain, I’d like the choice to be mine for whether or not people know. So naturally, I peel off the stickers. Most of them leave a horrible residue that will turn into ugly dark marks. Not with Goo-Gone! I put a bit on my finger and use that to saturate the sticker residue before wiping it clean with a rag. So easy and it works so well!

Bill: This product really works for removing sticky adhesive. I recently used it to remove a sticky residue that I think was from accumulated tobacco smoke all over the front of a desktop computer. It wasn't easy but I can't think of any other product that would have done the job. I've used the product a number of times and it has always worked and it doesn't take much of the stuff to do most jobs. Sometimes it takes a little patience or more than one application with a Q'tip but it will definitely get the glue off. No unpleasant smell either. This is one of those products that you must have around your house.

Deirdre ~: Love it! Worked just as advertised. I used it to remove very stubborn stickers & residue from dollar store sunglasses frames. Spent an hour trying to remove a few before I bought this. In that process I destroyed 3 pairs with acetone which didn't remove the residue but did remove the color of the frames, turning them into $3 worth of trash. Then once I got this I spent about 30 mins to remove stickers & residue from 20 pairs. I could tell it was working from the first swipe. Dissolved the residue working like some kind of miracle. Because science I guess. Couldn't be more impressed. I literally want to shout from the rooftops how great this stuff works, because it made one of life's very icky annoying tasks go smooth as butter. Also used it to remove labels from glass jars which I like to reuse for food storage. Now my shelves look so much better without all those old labels all over the jars. I love it when a product lives up to its claims. 5 stars all the way!!

Tim Bailey: This product has turned out to be a lot less effective than its reputation suggests, and that does include after careful review of the instructions and disclaimers it comes with. The greasy residue it leave behind also often requires its own removal solution, which is worth keeping in mind. But it does work pretty well on weaker adhesives and those that are thinly applied at the time of original adhesion.
