Goo Gone: Easily Remove Stubborn Adhesives with This Powerful Remover

Ryan: Goo gone has a million different uses. Highly recommend this product to anyone. You are bound to find a use for it at some point and it's pretty easy to store at home.

Recently I used some for removing the packaging off glass mason jars. I noticed the jars of tomato sauce I was buying from the grocery store were actually really nice mason jars. Felt like a waste throwing them out. Why buy a set of mason jars when instead you could just buy some goo gone and restore your own set? The process was pretty easy for removing the stickers that were glued to the jars. I removed what I could by hand and then applied some goo gone and a little bit of elbow grease for what remained. Now I have a beautiful set of mason jars for only a fraction of the cost!

Mellie: I bought this to get the sticky residue off my cars windshield. I had a phone holder that attached to my windshield that finally fell off after over a year. I didn't have time to clean it and as my car sat in the sun at work it dropped down pretty far. I first attempted to scrape it off with a razor blade but it still left a lot of sticky residue. I put a little of this product on a paper towel and it removed it very well. I then cleaned it several times with Windex and my windshield is ready for a new phone holder to be placed! Great stuff for sticky removal:)

Sara Chennamsetti: Tried 5 different things (google search) to get sticker residue off a brand new piece of furniture with a wood veneer. Nothing worked. Ordered this, it arrived the next day- sticker residue came off in 5 seconds- no pressure or rubbing! I couldn’t believe it- where has this been my whole life and what is this magic!???

Gary Tracy: Works ok. Got to remove sticky rack holders in the shower that broke and needed replacing.. Didn't work as well as I wanted but ok. Also thought I could use it to remove adhesive on my omnipod and dexcom transmitters I put on my abdomen. Did cause some irritation, so don't recommend. Product smell like kerosene

Dazza: I was cleaning the thermal paste off an old Xbox 360 and it had stuck paste which wouldn't come off with alcohol no matter how much I scrubbed. I read online that this stuff is safe for use on metal and dissolves thermal paste instantly. Boy, was I surprised at how good this stuff is! I dipped a cotton bud into this then onto the cpu and it instantly wiped away the thermal paste without any scrubbing.

Absolute beast of a product and would recommend it!

Rosy2004: This works. A little too well. Maybe my own stupid fault. My kids had drawn with crayon on the tarmac outside our house. So I tried this. The crayon is gone but it eroded the tarmac too 🙈 I think I preferred the crayon over the holes in the ground.

TFI Direct: Removing a price label from a certain well loved shop…you just hope it peels off in some sort of easy swoop…but it never does! I soaked the item, made my finger nails sore and yet it still left with that unbelievably sticky residue. Ughhh! I Ordered this which arrived the next day and it’s almost laughable at hot how immediate it wiped off! 1 little dab on kitchen roll, and 1 firm wipe and it had gone! VillodreVillodre: Tengo una colección de objetos importantes (al menos para mí) en los que hay siempre restos de unas molestas pegatinas, que si se retiran sin cuidado dañarán el embalaje original – venga, va, son juegos y consolas retro, donde vale más el cartón del embalaje que la propia máquina o el juego. Muchas de ellas tienen pegatinas de tiendas de segunda mano, o de precios que no son los originales (¡ya nos gustaría!) y eliminarlas arrancaría el original o dejaría restos.

En muchos foros americanos hablaban de este producto como si fuera magia y, aunque no lo es, se parece bastante. Tiene una consistencia aceitosa, así que cuidado con acabar empapando y manchando algo, y un fuerte olor a cítrico. Con una mínima y cuidadosa aplicación arrastra los restos de pegamento que da gusto, con solo aplicarlo en un algodón. Es muy recomendable tener a mano otro limpiador (alcohol isopropílico o una solución micelar de las que se usan para pantallas) para limpiar a su vez los restos del Goo Gone.
