RVOGT: Maybe it's bc they r new. Maybe its bc my old ones were so horrible. Maybe it's juat bc these are AWESOME! (Or all of the above). As soon as they came i ran out to try them out, 1.5 hrs and 4 wheelbarrows later i thiught i should leave a review. One side of handle pivots and seemed weird but i ALWAYS get blisters on my thumb within a few mins of clipping, not this time, no blisters so i assume its bc of the pivoting part. They also worked well with some pretty thick branches!!! Im in fl so we have a lot of rapid plant growth!

Bayareaboy: Purchased these after buying a cheaper pair that did not have the rotating bypass handle feature. Not only has it lasted longer (2 months+), but the rotating handle basically eliminates blisters, even when wearing gloves.
Now I beat pruning shears into submission pretty quickly, usually because I cut more than the max 3/4" width of a shrub piece on a occasion. OK, maybe I little more than on occasion. I actually tried cutting a piece larger than 1" width and it cut no problem. I did this a few more times, but the bolt on the connecting screw gave way and the shears disassembled into main pieces. No problem! I just found another connecting bolt in my shop for the one I couldn't find on the ground and put this baby back together in 2 minutes. Just like new.
