felix was: These clippers work great (best I've ever used), but the blades will go dull eventually and a good cleaning and sharpening won't help—and good luck getting replacement blades. The ones shows in the "frequently bought together" are for a different model of clipper, and when I contacted the company about replacement blades for this model, they sent a robo-response and never followed up. Too bad, because they'd be a cinch to replace. I'd rate these 5 stars if it weren't for this.

Mark: This trimmer is amazing. I was using a Sunjoe trimmer which was so frustrating as it would not cut more than 3-4 grass blades at a time. The Gardena is simply amazing. Cuts super thick grass with no problem. Also really really nice that it has a battery level indicator.

There is no need to adjust the grass with your free hand (which is super dangerous) with this trimmer it cuts right though. I used it to edge a patio with no problem. Wish I got this years ago but the high price kept me away. You really get what you pay for here as the performance makes this an exceptional value.

Very happy with this Amazon buy.

Neumann de Valdivia Anette: Ich arbeite immer mit diesem Gerät. Besonders an Stellen wo der Rasenmäher nicht hin kommt. Für Hecken ist er ungeeignet. Bei dickeren Zweigen würde er versagen. Es sei denn, Sie wollen Skulpturen schneiden und schneiden aller zwei Wochen.

Max: Ottimo prodotto. Molto facile da collegare / scollegare dall'asta di supporto. Azionamento semplice, sia usato da solo che con l'asta con il manico, regolabile in altezza: il pulsante di sblocco di sicurezza è leggero e non si fa fatica a tenere poi il tasto di funzione premuto. Taglio efficace, leggera da tenere anche con l'asta. Ottima la possibilità di regolare l'inclinazione della testina con le lame. Autonomia notevole: 60 metri di bordo prato (erba ma anche ramoscelli non troppo grossi) e la carica è scesa solo di 1 terzo. Si percepisce la qualità del materiale rispetto a prodotti similari ma di fascia inferiore di prezzo (ne avevo già ordinato uno per conto di un parente). Compreso di ruote, ma io non le ho usate.
Nessun problema in caso di ghiaia: intanto i denti delle lame sono abbastanza distanziati tra loro e rende quindi più difficile che possano incastrarsi in mezzo dei sassolini. Se accade, la macchina si arresta in sicurezza. Utili i led indicatori di carica sulla carcassa, alimentatore incluso

Josh: We have owned these for two seasons now. Great product. However this last weekend my wife severed her finger tip. Spent 8hrs in the ER and saw a hand surgeon the following morning. The clippers didn’t finish the job but the 10% left is the only reason they decided to reattach it at the moment to use it as a biological “bandage”.
Be aware. My wife simply wasn’t paying attention where her left hand was in relationship to her right hand using the trimmer.
Extremely sharp and dangerous for children I’d imagine as well.

Aaron Shaffer: Overall these cut better than other shears I have tried. However, the replacement blades can be very hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. The Gardena site is VERY unhelpful. Search Amazon for "Gardena 9862-20" and those are the ones you need. Oddly, the blades recommended by Amazon do not fit this model, but the 9862-20 does fit.
