persephone: I am generally suspicious of cheaper products like this, but I did not want to spend the money on the better rated backpacks considering I only use this occasionally. I have to say I’m happy with this purchase. This backpack is comfortable, lightweight, balanced, and a good design. Other reviewers have said it is not waterproof but I don’t intend to be walking in the rain with it so that didn’t matter to me. The clamshell design makes for easy access to contents. it only has one smaller inside pocket but that’s all I need anyway. It is exactly what I needed for less than 20 bucks. The stitching is not that great , but if anything comes loose, it looks like it will be easy to mend.

MELONIE FAVOITE: Needed an extra backpack while on a trip to South Africa. This did the trick. I used it for light weight jackets , my camera etc. Best part it folds away until you need it. Great price and weights practically nothing. Will be buying anyone.

Big Daddy: Great, lightweight, compact backpack. Bought it for a cruise and kept it in a larger backpack when going ashore to have a second backpack to bring back anything we bought, dirty or wet towels/clothing.
Material is very thin and lightweight yet seems pretty durable. It is a lot better pack than I was expecting for the price. I will be ordering more just to keep in our vehicles.

M. J. Mollenhour: This little item is ideal. Light. Easily compacted to nearly nothing. convenient to use. And costs a mere $15 or so. Why not add it to your trip? It'll carry your rain jacket, your water, and give you space for things you buy. I used this recently on a trip overseas and found it very handy. This is not a laptop-protecting pack: It's for shopping, an excursion, a day-trip somewhere. And, it's ideal for its stated and intended purpose.

Rubbubble: This bag is well made, stitching and zippers don't seem like they will fall apart without a decent amount of abuse. The dimensions stated on the listing are a bit optimistic though. If you NEED the stated size, it but be worth opting for the larger version instead. This is still big enough for my needs though, it just looks like I'm wearing a kids bag when I'm using it :)

Sandy Barker: Lightweight, but sturdy. Love this backpack. Have used it on hikes and for getting about and it holds up well for the lightness of the fabric.
